Betty Lou will be prepping the food for tomorrow's Christmas dinner. I've graciously volunteered to forego some of my plans to perform the duties of taste tester.   

Ahhh, yes!!! We went out for Thanksgiving, just the 3 of us… and my wife, Andi, swore- “Never again!”…
My wife’s making/baking her sausage stuffing and a ham, at the least. I’m sure there’s more planned for tomorrow than I know, but I’m pretty excited.

Looks like ol Jack Frost paid us a visit last night. Not sure what is in store for today. I can plan all I want but they all go away as soon as the wife gets up. If she doesn't have any plans which I'm sure she does I'm thinking of installing the polished parts I did in the impact. Kinda curious if the polishing and my secret sauce will eliminate the low first shots out of it.

Found out my tablet can take a SD card up to 1tb. 😁 That means I can download most of what I have on my laptop and won't have to use the laptop anymore.

Thanks, you should see it at night. Been keeping an eye on Betelgeuse. They're predicting it to go super Nova. I just hope I'm looking at the right star. I think it's to the left of onions belt. It's got a orangest hue to it cause it's a red giant between 10 and 20  times the size of our Sun.
Just checked the drawing on Wikipedia and that's where it is.

Yep, Happy Holidays to all.

I managed to stay in bed until 5:00 this morning. Between me and 2 dogs snoring, Betty Lou was forced to retreat to the spare bedroom sometime during the night.
I knew she would be up early this morning.. all she's been talking about this past week is her plan for Christmas dinner. She's like me when I get airguns on my mind.
I'll most likely spend most of the day in the Red Shed puttering around while football games are streaming on the TV.

Merry Christmas, GTA!!!

I got up at 0437… the girls said they’re not getting up until 0800. I’m having my coffee, reading and relaxing… it rained all day yesterday, we should dry out today. After Christmas gifts, I’m sure we’ll have a light breakfast and just relax around the house and each other. I’m looking forward to Christmas dinner, too. Might shoot an airgun somewhere in between stuff.

Just sprinkling on and off here and that's not a problem. The problem is the gusting wind. Makes it hard to keep lead on POA. Rain is supposed to move out between 10 and noon with temps going to the low 70s. I hope the rain takes the wind with it.

Merry Christmas! I woke and got up at 4:47 AM. No plans for today yet. It will be just my wife and I hanging out today. I am sure there will be some phone calls. We spent the afternoon and evening at our youngest's house yesterday. The weather is going to be nice with a high of around 68-70°F, winds of 0-4 mph max today. I may set up some targets later on?

Merry Christmas, just sitting here contemplating the day's activities due to the weather. The wind is the deciding factor right now. One more line of rain on the way and then it should start to clear out.

Merry Christmas and bah humbug! Just the wife and I today. Nothing planned so far. Will just take it as it comes. I've got to check the level of the water storage to see if it'll take another 1000 gallons.

Merry Christmas y'all!  Womens works from sun to sun but a park ranger's work is never done.  In twenty some odd years as a park ranger I think I've had Christmas off maybe twice.  Working the late shift today.  I'll be closing the park down tonight.  Gonna be a busy day!  The lodge will feed at least 500 guests today and we have ten boat tours scheduled.
