Ernie, there is no way I would drive I-95 right now or any time of the year. It is a constant crash and wait on that highway. I stay off the interstate system as much as possible. When you drive in Florida, you drive like everybody is out to get you just to stay alive.

Up kinda early this morning at 3:30. The dogs didn't even get up until 4:30.
I'll get out at daylight and put the final touches on the 30yd shooting range and finish up the 10yd bb gun setup. I also have a 15yd setup. Just covering options for different guns and shooting styles for today.
Should be a great day for some shooting.

Today we’re driving from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale. I’m not wild about it but wonder wife wants to spend Christmas with her sister.  So we’ll be on 95 until we can get  on  the Fl turnpike   95 sure can be a madhouse from mass to florida.  We like to take the much more interesting backroads when we can.

There aren't any back roads in that part of Flarda.  Unfortunately the interstate or the turnpike is your best bet.  Get off 75 or 95 and you'll be stuck driving 20 mph through all those golf cart communities.  I've written off south Florida.  I don't go south of Paynes Prairie anymore.

Bill.  The correct protocol when the neighbors give a firepower demonstration is to respond promptly with something bigger and with a larger magazine!

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! Happy Christmas Eve, Eve! The grandsons stayed over last night. I was up way too late, we watched The Polar Express until 2200 hrs. Kids are up, I got up around 0600, wife’s still asleep. Ayrabella has a “Build-a-Bear” she needs filled as an early Birthday/Christmas gift and we’re going to take her to dinner for her Birthday dinner early- tonight. Her Birthday is the day after Christmas, but since today is Saturday, we’ll do these couple things. Reason is- she wants to go ice skating on her Birthday. 🥳

 Need to splice some low voltage cord on my outdoor Christmas lights. Seems a rabbit has chomped them off, Rabbit may end up on the what are you  eating thread
 One other year rabbit bit a 120 cord and I found him there next spring

Beautiful sunny, clear blue skis, no humidity to speak of, no wind and 70 at 11:45am on December 23rd. This is exactly why I moved here from Ohio. Sitting out back in a tee shirt shooting BB guns.

Had to go into town yesterday and this is the results. As you can see it doesn't make a difference what tire you have you're driving on slicks as soon as you hit the mud.😂

Probably not Gil... it's still just a raw 3 acre field. They hauled dirt in and leveled a pad for the double wide. They haven't even put a driveway in yet. Still driving over the field to get to the house. We lived on the other side of that field for 7 years and on this side of it for a couple. Never seen the first hog in there. The hogs have plenty to eat around here with all the crop farms in the area.
I really think the boy was trying out a new gun. Gun fire is as common as birds singing around here.

I always feel bad having to shoot in the middle of the night but my neighbors know I'm killing my and they're pests so if I wake them up shooting they know something was killed that they didn't like having around tearing up their place. I did ask them if they'd prefer I not do that and they said please kill them any chance you get. Unfortunately the middle of the night is when most critters come around but sometimes I luck out and get some shots in them during the day.

Good morning GTA! Happy Christmas Eve!!! I got up at 0430, I probably should have slept in a little more. But, I’m up and have had my coffee. I’m about to jump in the shower, have breakfast and get ready for Church. I get to read scripture, today's Christmas Eve service is going to just be songs and scripture reading. Afterwards, I foresee some gift wrapping and probably a nap… I like naps! 
It’s supposed to rain all day, but I’ll likely leave the car out of the garage, so I can shoot an air rifle every now and then at the 30 meter targets… I need to shoot a few that have been neglected since my last two pumper acquisitions.

I nearly forgot about our iDrive website until you put that up there! I had to check ours immediately… not much fog, but we have plenty of rain for today… winter is predicted to start headed here pretty soon, though. That iDrive has been very useful these past couple years that I’ve used it.

Good morning, no fog here, the wind has picked up some. Rain later today so outdoor projects are on hold, work on some indoor stuff. Probably rearrange the shop some more to accommodate the newest addition. New orings have come in for the air guns so I may take on that a well.
