Might have to change my handle to "Drain pipe Sam"  Yep it's a rainin a natural frog strangler out there!  Ol' bayou done rose up like dat river Jordan!  I forgot and left the jon boat in the water all week.  It will be up to the gunwales by now.  Don't think I'm doing too much today.  Probably head out to the shed after lunch and start taking the 2100 apart.

Just emptied out the rain gauge, 4.8 inches since 2 p.m. yesterday, yes I am wading around in the yard. Another storm line is making it's way into the area now. I had 3.8 inches last Sunday so it's a little soggy right now. I needed the rain but not a flood.

John is that the Imax in Little Rock? Back when I lived in AR over 20yrs back that was the only Imax anywhere near us.

Kris yep it's usually either a drought or flood here too.

We got over five inches here according to both of our rain gauges.  The bilge pump failed on the jon boat.  It sank gunwale deep.  I went down to the dock and jiggled the electrical cord and the pump started right up.  It was dry in ten minutes.

We had a bit of wind and rain last night just enough to shake things up and cause power outages.  Called into work early and we have been getting the lights back on.  Here ‘til 11pm then I’m having a weekend.

Oh, no, we have an iMax in Fayetteville. Although, I don’t go to see movies very often anymore, this was my first time at this one. The movie was great and I’m glad we saw it in the iMax.

Another line of rain is coming probably in an hour or so, any other flood/damage control will be hold until this mess totally over. Bill has it right for my handle "wading lizard".

Plans changed the instant Ayrabella got up. She doesn’t feel good, wife went to Church. Ayrabella has bowl, upchucking. I feel terrible for her. When my wife gets home, I’ll still have inventory to do.

Strangely enough, I have had some of my most memorable hunts in adverse weather conditions.

Up here where I live, that usually equates to snow or intense cold but sometimes rain too.

Fortunately the rain stayed at a steady slow drizzle though out the system. Nothing even collected in the puddles. It's supposed to end completely by noon today and tomorrow is predicted to be 0% with partly sunny skies and 70 degrees.
I got out at around 8:00 this morning and got the Sentry issue sorted and put back together.

Kris... just so you know.. those foam paddling inserts that PA uses to pack pellets don't make good floaties.... I tried it on Rambo.

Wow that's a lot of rain in two days and 7 days, Hemet, California where I'm at they say 12 inches of rain, on average, per year. We have had years with over 30 inches though.
