Back at ya... I forgot all about Father's Day.
More moving stuff today. Looks like a couple more days and we'll have everything out of the bar building that we own and want. Then we'll just take our time and reconfigure. I'll be taking down the security camera system today, weather permitting, That will get moved to the Red She and She Shed. With people we don't know occupying that building security will be important to us. We don't expect problems but we like the safe feeling.
There were more than 50 airguns displayed in there. We brought them all in and laid them on the bed in the spare room and we've been chipping away at finding places for them. I got the pile whittled to 12 guns now and now it's time to get creative.

Betty Lou is taking it harder than I am.... as expected. For me it's kinda like easy come, easy go. My World just got a little smaller, I still live in it the same as I did. Next phase, after the moving and fencing, will be to begin chipping away and knocking the wooded area back on our property. There is more than a half acre that can be claimed.

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. Business as usual with the homestead, later on I will probably go ride the coast and take a break from the yard duties, just need a change of scenery for a minute. The weather is nice right now but the storms will be back later this afternoon.

I'm back at work after four days of feeling really poorly.  Hope today is better.  Late shift today and it promises to be a rough one!  This is a three day weekend that stacks two holidays so I'm bracing for the worst!

I'm not sure we need another building at this point. The Red Shed, She Shed, Utility Room and The Screened Deck that we sealed in all the screens with 2" insulation board give us quite a bit of space. It's roughly a 12'x16' space that we can put a window a.c unit in. Once we get everything out of the bar/mancave we can optimize those areas. For right now we're just concentrating on packing and moving stuff out of there.
We've also laid out our plan for the fenced in area for the dogs. It will be about 1/2 acre and include the mobile home we live in. Our vehicles will park outside of the fence with 2 access gates. One gate will be large enough to pass atv and mower and the other will be just a walk through for bringing in groceries and such.

Good morning, sitting here watching it rain. Hopefully this line coming through won't last long so I can go fish without being zapped or drowned. I'll probably just ride the roads for a change of scenery.

We have a rainy day here too.  It was raining about 30-minutes ago.  Now the skies are partly cloudy [blue skies showing through] and on the warm side.  Our weekend visitors have started their trip back to Ohio (my Judy niece and her husband - sweet kids).  So we are busy getting the house straightened up and cleaned.  We will take it slow and easy though.[/color]

Morning Y'all.  I cancelled the 9:40 boat tour due to lightening.  I'm sweating the 11:00 boat.  If Harry doesn't leave soon we're going to lose our window between storms.

3:50 p.m.  I've canceled seven out of ten boats today because of storms.  It's still raining and I still hear the occasional rumble of thunder.  We'll see if the 4:20 boat runs!

I just got home from Tyndall, I had a small window out there but worth it. I found one place that is public accessible on the water and full of ghost shrimp and it's pretty remote, not many people will venture that far onto the base. A non DOD recreational permit is required and you better know the regs and location that is accessible to the public or will be an expensive ticket. I had gone into PC to pick up some things and had made my way back out to the base. It started raining here about 10 a.m. and has been on and off all afternoon. I will probably go back out in the morning if it is not raining and try that spot for reds and flounder. Ghost shrimp are like crack to a fish, they can't resist them. I don't mind the rain if it's light, it's the lightning that I care about, being clobbered 4 times is enough.

Congrats Brett! She's like me she doesn't look her age. That trait didn't help us a late teenagers but it does now where a lot of the teens that looked great at that age don't look so good now so although I wasn't happy about that back then I am now so I bet she feels the same.

Good morning GTA, Happy Tuesday!!! I had been busting my butt outside at home this weekend and then again yesterday at work. It’s going to be like that I guess, summer’s here and it’s only going to get hotter. Pretty sure we’re not going to be getting much rain anymore, we really need to get that pool up by Saturday. If I can have it up by Friday, all the more better.

Off today.  It's my holiday since my normal days off are Sunday and Monday.  It's been on and off cool gray and wet here for a few days.  It's gray and drizzling at the moment.  Didn't get out of bed until 0815. 

Still waiting for the under pool protective liner to deliver so the pool still sits in the box unopened.  I'm thinking today will be a recovery day from festivities all weekend for Father's Day and Mrs. P's bday.  A couple of the boys are down with a cold and a headache.  Weather is gray.  My neck and back are sore ().  I may shoot but I've not been real enthused about that much lately either.  I have lots on the list to do but I'm not feeling it today, at least not yet.

Yeah, these storms are relentless. The sun seems to out during the first half of the day making for high humidity. Then the rains come trough in the afternoon and start the cycle all over again. The ground stays too wet even mow.
Not much gun related stuff going on here right now and I don't expect much for at least a week when we get all this other stuff done. Right now we're just trying to stuff 20 pounds of poop in a 5 pound bag.
Tomorrow we won't get much done because it's bulk grocery day to the big city. But we did stay diligent at getting the fencing done so the dogs can be out while we're gone.
I will pick up half dozen more "T" posts while we're in town tomorrow to button up a few weaker places in the fence lines. I'm also thinking about grabbing some 1/4" rebar to cut and bend into "U" shapes to pin the fence to the ground between posts.
The dogs are getting up in the years. I would be very surprised if they are even with us for the next 5 years and when they are gone.. no more.
