Up at daylight, yep the yard is soaked again, 2.5 inches of rain yesterday. So I have so projects that need finishing can be done in the shop. It is cooler here this morning so that is a plus. Just take the day as it comes.

I just went out to the Red Shed and questioned my decision to put on shorts this morning... It's all good, supposed to be a comfortable day today.

Mid 70's later today which will be nice to set up the melter and cast some slugs for the Hercules bully. I am in the process of building a new shooting lane and be able to shoot from the back porch without running to shop to run the compressor. I have an outside outlet on the porch so I can just plug it in and have everything set up right there.
Good morning PST to all, I have need up for a few hours. I have some bills to pay and some mowing and string trimming that needs to get done today or tomorrow. I didn't post yesterday so I'll catch up. As we were working on the 95 Chevy van Saturday my daughter came out of the house hysterical, she had just gotten a phone call from Idaho telling her that one of her son-in-laws was killed when his car fell on him while he was working under it. That message came from his friend that was there helping him when it happened. We prayed, hoping it wasn't true. The responders took him away in an ambulance with no pulse and not breathing. I am not sure how long he wasn't breathing and had no pulse but it was quite a few minutes, but on the way to the hospital he suddenly sat up and was confused as to what happened. He gradually remembered though, he remembers the crushing weight and not being able to breath, then having peace and just feeling like to go to sleep. His friend says it took 5 minutes for him to get the car lifted off of him. At the hospital they checked him out and found no severe injuries and no broken bones. He has lots of bruising and is in a lot of pain still but has no apparent lasting effects from having had oxygen depravation. He was released to go home from the Trauma unit about 6 hours later. What an emotional rollercoaster that was. It made me hurt to think about it, and things like this are why jacks should never be trusted alone.
Gotta go to Munster at 9:30 to measure up for a $3600 custom vanity I have to make. Then late this afternoon my wife is taking me out for dinner for my birthday. I think that I'd like to go to Red Lobster,I just love sea food!
Just got back from the dump. No trash service so the 40% of the trash that won't burn goes to the dump.
Did I mention I was going to play in the mud today and get 2 tractors stuck Well that's what I did LOL
Pictures or it didn't happen.🧐
