Why in the World would they go to Flarda during spring break?
That would be like going to Nahlins during Marty Grass.
I can just go to the Marathon down the road and watch the people stopping in there on their way and know I don't want any part of that fuster cluck.

Another member visited us from Birmingham yesterday. He said he sat in traffic for 30 minutes and finally had to get off the highway to get around it. That was north of Montgomery, Al. which is 3 hours from Flarda gulf coast.

I have been in hiding since the first of the month because of the spring break fiasco, I don't even get near Panama City this time of the year. As for plans, not a whole lot, finish fixing lawn toys, pick out a place for the other raised boat garden, finish mowing around stuff the riding lawn mower can't get.

I went out drinking downtown last night, for the first time in a few years.  I'm 38 and married, went as my buddy's wing man who's about to get divorced.

I feel bad for young guys these days, the gals all dress like it's 1992 mom jeans mixed with grunge.  The only girls wearing dresses were out for a bachelorette party.  It's like they just gave up.

In other news, going shooting at my uncles farm today. Mostly .45 ACP toys.  50 and Sunny!

So I just stay home.

Even though I was not much of a drinker, I sure did waste a lot of time and money in bars when I was much younger.   Home away from home, hanging out with my friends, trying to pick up girls.   That amount of time and money would have taken me through law school.    But a long time ago, the greatest piece of luck in my entire life happened when I met my future wife in a bar.  So I guess the time and money in bars was really a good investment.

I'm glad I did all those crazy things when I was young.. I doubt if my old wore out body could handle it now and I would have missed all the fun.... even though I don't remember half of it. But hey, they said I had a good time and that's all that matters...

Never drank or ..... so much I didn't remember the night before or the day after. That was all during my time in the service or as a civilian working for the military in Germany. We had a beer cellar in Germany at work. I remember 1 German holiday where everyone but the American workers got the day off. Didn't have a thing to do but sit and drink real German beer. 9 half liters later it was time to go home. Oh what a crooked walk I weaved walking home.😱😁 Luckily our housing was pretty close. That was back in 79 but I still remember it.😂 Can't remember what I did a week ago but still remember that.🤔

Been up a couple hours. Rambo got up with me and ate but he didn't want to go out. Instead he waddled down the hallway and went back to bed. Nobody else has even stirred yet.
Might have some weather moving in today but I'm getting ready to get dressed and take my coffee with me to the Red Shed. I have a few projects in mind.

Good morning GTA! Well, that weekend flew by… Happy Monday! I slept in until 0615.  I don’t have job on me for today. I have a “big” meeting down in “the” Little Rock tomorrow morning. I’ll stay overnight tonight, as to not be late in the a.m. I’ll need to call the office at 0800 to see if I’m working this morning, or just traveling later. Otherwise, I’m just going to get ready, wash and straighten up the van and take it easy.

Up early, fruit, veggies, and eggs collected. Feed and water the zoo. Get cleaned up and head into town to pick up zoo food. Get done with that, work on more lawn toys up and running. Just keepin' busy, I hate sittin' around.
