It got down to 31°F overnight and is currently 42°F at 7:53 AM, on the way to 65°F today. 

 I have to get ready for a family/Church friend from out of state that is coming for a few days. That entails getting things done I would have put off so my time is free.

Was 21 when I got up this morning on it's way to 53 supposedly. It's only up to 29 at 1000hrs. Suppose to be really windy for the next week or so which means it will melt what snow is left and dry it out.🎉🥳🍻🍻🎉

No. Not make stuff kind of work. Replace parts Kind of work.
Feed was not working so ordered a replacement lead. Old one is kind of stripped in a few places.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got a full days work in yesterday plus white knuckle driving bushed me out. I wound up on an icy roof fixing some heat rather than changing filters. I slept good and got up at 0450 and have had one coffee. I think I’ll I have another or 2 before I get going. Plan is to finally get to go look at those gas-fired hanging heaters. I’ll swap my 8’ and 10’ ladders to bring my 12’ ladder with me. I still won’t be able to reach the units, but I’ll be able to get closer to quote a fix. This white icy mess ought to start melting today. It’s supposedly going to get to about 40* today.

Been up for an hour sipping coffee and browsing while watching news and weather.
Nobody else is up yet so it's peaceful and quite. Dogs must have partied last night.
I went to bed before Betty Lou so I don't know how late she was up.
No real plans for today... probably just shoot some airguns.

Good morning, up early for no reason. Feed zoo, clean up a little in the house, then finish the repair project I started on some of my fishing reels. I totally tear them down, clean the corrosion and nasty grease out of them then relube them with the good stuff and stick it all back together. Finish cleaning up the rest of the gear and pack it all back for the next trip.

Kris... I am amazed that my sleeping schedule has not changed the least bit since I retired. If I'm still in bed by 5am I feel like I'm being lazy or missing out on something. I'm in bed no later than 10pm.
It's now 6:20 and I can see it's beginning to get daylight outside and I'm already thinking about getting out and doing something.
The dogs and I will begin by walking the property line while I decide what it is I will do next. I have some more work to do on my 35yds target set up. That's probably what I'll do today.
I need to go get some paint for my 1'x3'x2mm high strength steel blank targets. I have about 30 of them than I need to paint on both sides. I just thin out white latex house house paint, line them up and use the air spray gun and compressor.... providing it don't rain. Then I put the 1/2" yard sale stickers on them in a 3" grid pattern.
I can hang the blanks on a screw in trees at various distances and shooting them goes a long way to learning shot placement for pesting with different guns and pellets.

Bill, when I was working, I had to be on the clock at 7 a.m. same with the other job as well.  My day started at 3 cst., the routine was feed myself and get dressed, pack a lunch, feed and water the indoor zoo, feed and water the outdoor zoo, drive 20 mi. one way to work. Stress from work and the pain from the PsA made it hard for me to get a good night's sleep. Some days I wouldn't get home until after midnight or later.  Since I have retired, sleeping through the night has been a blessing. Sometimes I have to have a senior nap but not as much as use when I was working.

I've got to service the battery and change the oil in the generator. The battery is a once a month job. The generator is dependent on usage.

Currently at 7:18 AM it is 27°F at the nearest weather station this morning, it is 37°F on my back deck. It is supposed to get to 69°F today. 

Today I need to get a haircut and get my Dodge Ram washed.

Gil, you lived Arkansas?! We’ve had near Tornadoes, my wife freaked out… totally, once we had a bad one… I went to bed right as it was barreling down on us and went to sleep. We’ve had a few Earthquakes, nothing like California, but I’ve slept through them too.

Yep. I heard a tornado within a mile of me there that sounded like a 747 taking off but it was so foggy I couldn't see it.

Fog and a tornado? Wow, learn something new every day. Only place I've ever lived where they had tornadoes is Southside of Chicago so never thought there could be both.
