Gotta prepare for that next line of storms expected to blow through late tomorrow.
This one is expected to be pretty strong with rain and winds upward of 60-70 mph.
And as usual, it will arrive here late in the day and into the night.
Let's just hope our luck continues and there will be no major damage.
Living in a mobile home in the woods certainly has it's downside... 

Me too Bill....only I will be getting snow....possibly Big Snow Too.
Different storm...same time frame.

I was surprised once again to hear the trash service truck this morning. In our rural location we pay $66 every 3 months for weekly pick up. We put the trash out Sunday nights and they pick up early Monday mornings regardless of holiday.

Dang, you just reminded me, Bill… I forgot… I hadn’t forgotten until I came home from work last night, then I forgot and now I’ll have to wait until next week. Oh well.

LOL... we forget from time to time as well but they provide a large trash container on wheels and with just Betty Lou and I here (we burn paper and boxes) it's rarely full. Most often we could go two weeks without filling it.
Betty Lou is pretty OCD about the trash though.

I found out yesterday that I have minimal to no internet service in the Red Shed. With the Red Shed and our mobile home being metal exterior, the wireless signal won't quite do it.
I have a lynksys wireless router laying around and I'll purchase 50' of Cat6 to run it off of like I did to the bar/mancave.

I was awake from 5:00 AM yesterday until 2:00 AM this morning and then I was in bed from 2:00 AM until 7:30 AM and I was wide awake so I got up.

It's 48°F and suppose to get to 54°F today. Partly cloudy this morning, mostly cloudy this after noon then cloudy with increasing chance until it rains tonight.

I think I will mostly take the day off?

OR...

I could mow our front yard^?, since I didn't do that with the rest of the property last week.

I may go to the place in town and sort through stuff in the house?

I may swap the transaxle from our old lawn tractor and parts mower, if I feel like it? I have been putting that off for a while now and don't really need it, I plan on using it just as a trailer puller if that transaxle works, and a temp backup for the new one if breaks down or something?

I weighed 197.8 this morning. The last three days I have been under 200lbs.

Chilling with coffee and homemade pastry while surfing the web currently.  Did some reading already.  Later this afternoon we will take our oldest (25) to the airport to fly back to Minnesota where he currently resides.  In between now and then I'm not sure what I will do.  My normal days off are Sunday and Monday.  Since yesterday was a holiday I could either get paid for the holiday today (extra 8 hours pay) OR take tomorrow off and get paid for the holiday.  I prefer the time off since I work so much OT anyway so I'll be off one more day and go back in on Wednesday.  It's a bright day out with thin high clouds.  Hopefully that burns off and we will have full sun.  I have been rekindling my appreciation for springers so I hope to cycle one of them if not more.  We also have a ton of wood that needs split and stacked.  I'll try to do a little of that just to make progress.

Sadly our Radio Shack closed down a long time ago. 
 The main problem it had was probably Walmart, and the fact it was in a dying strip mall with no draws in the place. It's a good location but an old one that hasn't got much to offer anyone. It originally was between a Safeway and Thrifty Drug store.

We lost our Radio Shack years ago as well.
I remember going to them and buying electronics... you know... resistors, diodes, rheostats, transformers, meters, decent raw speakers and cross-overs...
Then it became a "cell phone store".

Radio Shack was my favorite store growing up!
Now if I need a darn resistor? They make my nose bleed for shipping or do a 3 hour trip!

 To my old brother Radio Shack was essential. He was always building amps, radios, Speaker boxes, oscilloscopes, or repairing TVs, stereos, or Airforce surplus aircraft radios, shortwave radios, or something electronic. I would surprised if he was not their number one customer in our area for the 1970's. Then he started driving to Los Angeles and going to the big Electronics Warehouse stores so he didn't have to order and wait on some components.

X’mas break is almost over and back to work on the 5th.

It was a good vacation though, which started on the 22nd, so I was lazy for more than 2 weeks
