Thanks Hugh… I know I’m not old yet, just a little banged up at the moment. I’m hoping to start doing my part to get in better shape and stronger after my next spinal injection Friday. I intend to pull out my bicycle this week too… and actually start riding it.

Got the old Shed moved and started the floor for the new 12 X 16 She Shed.
It's a kit build and good thing I've been in construction my whole working life as the instructions and parts list do not match what I'm building!
 
Why give me a list of parts and instructions for a 10 x 10 floor when I'm building a 12 X 16?

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I threw out my left hip yesterday and have no idea how I did it. We never even got to shoot airguns, I noticed it around mid-day. It still hurt when I went to bed. I woke up about 0430 and it felt worse so I went back to sleep. I finally got up around 0700 and decided to just stay home. I took a couple pain pills but it still hurts. I’m planning on visiting my chiropractor tomorrow morning on my way to work. Other than the chiropractor, I don’t know what else to do. It’s just my left hip, I’ve had this happen before and if I could just get it to “pop” it should be ok. Friday I get my second spinal injection. We watched the truck race and half of the Xfinity race last night when my wife got home. We’ll have to watch the rest of the Xfinity race before we start the Nascar Cup race. My wife’s making 2 kinds of buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and something else, I can’t remember.

Four days into a six day week I’ve driven boats three out of four days and I’ll be on boats for the next two days also.  The water is a lot clearer than it was two weeks ago.  Visibility is up to about 35-40 feet.  Much easier to spot the manatee now!  We’re short handed because several staff deployed for hurricane relief so tomorrow I’m the late patrol and a boat captain then on Tuesday I’m the lead boat captain.

But Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I’m off!

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! Up at 0430 CT. I’ve gotten very little relief for the pain in my hip, it’s like real sciatic pain- but just on my left side. Usually for me it’s both sides and right down the middle then down my left side. Hopefully, it’ll start feeling better after the chiropractor. After this second coffee I’ll get moving. My wife signed us up with a different local trash service. I’ve got to get the cans out early, not sure what time they’re going to roll past. I just hope they do a good job, they’re a mom & pop team. Then I have a preventative maintenance job to do at the mall today.

Mornin y'all. Woke up at 3am and laid in bed watching TV until 5.
Got up and had some coffee then me and Bossy walked the perimeter. Rambo decided to stay in and be lazy with mommy.
Altho not nearly up to par, I felt better walking than I have in 2 weeks. I made the whole walk without getting woozy.
I'm going to get a shower and a bite to eat and see if I can venture out some more today.
Anxiety is killin' me. Trying to focus on the big picture and know this won't be forever.
The joint and muscle pain is crazy. It starts in the wrist then moves to the elbow then the shoulder. Then it reverses direction and travels back down the arm. It seems to be a constant cycle. Every now and then I get a jolt of strong pain in one of the 3 joints.
I'm out of the Lortab and I have 1 Ultram left. They seem to dull the pain but do very little for stopping it. I'm hoping I can do without them when the last one is gone. I fear any kind of dependency on any type of drug.  Been there, done that. Wasted alot of life and opportunities behind it.

I truly appreciate everyone's well wishes and prayers. I feel like there are many, many folks, such as those in Florida and S. Carolina who need them more than me. My thoughts are with those folks.

I agree, Bill. I don’t mind letting you guys know how I’m doing, but I don’t want it to sound like I’m complaining. Lots of people got it worse. And we’ll get through our stuff. I’ll keep you & BL in my prayers anyway, I’ve been praying for the folks that are suffering due to the Hurricane too. I hope we all can recover quickly.

Work first and foremost- data conversion for a new Illinois customer.  After work, I'm building a concrete form for my buddy's lawn aerator.  He has a row of batteries strapped on and that's just no bueno on hilly yards with lots of reversing.

I'll probably prep the smoker after finishing the form for a big'un we picked up on sale- 14-pound brisket    Our latest mix of rub has produced some top-notch bark, and the brisket itself has been superlative.  This slab of beef shouldn't be any different- except there's more of it.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Up just before 0400 CT. This morning I have a cooler that needs door repairs. It took me awhile to receive all the right parts- door gasket, hinges & spring closure. Not sure what I’ll do after that, we’re slowing down a little. I’ll finish my second coffee and get rolling. The chiropractor really set me straight yesterday. I’m still sore, I just need to get through Thursday.

In bed at 10pm and up at 3am. I think I actually slept right through.
Had a banana with a side of pills and working on my 20oz. coffee.
No real plans today.. just take it as it comes. I did get the ATVs on the battery chargers yesterday. They been sitting awhile and needed a bump to the batteries. I need to call the doc and see if results are in from some blood work we had done. Betty Lou got her results.. all is good with her, But mine weren't in yet. Basically I want to look at the progress from the the new diet and meds for lowering A1c and Cholesterol. Last time I checked BP it was 128/76 so that's doing good.
Finished paying all the bills for Oct. and made the plan and the arrangements to 'cut the cable'. We're gonna go all streaming and digital antenna and save more than $120 a month.

Me and Boss just came in from a walk around the perimeter. Pretty brisk out there but no wind and it's gonna warm up nicely. Boss was full of spunk and insisted on grabbing my feet. She almost knocked me down a couple times. Now she's trying to shove her knotted rope toy in Betty Lou's sleeping face... that ain't gonna turn out well for her.
Was reading in another thread and it may have motivated me to dig out the SPA Plinkster in .177. It's a C02 and I have a couple CARM mags for it. That gun takes minimal effort to shoot and I have plenty of pellets and carts for it.

I was up until almost 3, slept off and on until 8:00AM got up and after my coffee I took another load to the dump.

I have an appointment with an estate lawyer at 2:30 PM, so I am going to eat, shower, and take it easy until then. Probably not do much after the lawyer either, because it's too hot to want to be out in it. Before dark I may get out and load some more stuff up.

Made a run to town and Walmart. Got back and after a bite to eat I took the Plinkster out. Then I had a flair up where pain and nausea sent me to bed. I took some meds and feel a bit better now.
Try again tomorrow.

Mornin y’all.  Gotta shift the 100 lb propane tank today.  Get it filled up and head for the grocery store, liquor store, and drug store.  But before all that I’ll take the pups for a walk around.  Might see a rabbit if we go early enough.
Might try and chronograph some pellets after lunch.
