I missed my morning rituals this morning. My son had asked if I would help him run water to his stepdaughter's mobile home.

I got up before daylight and left out right after breakfast and coffee. I measured the distances from the water meter the back of the mobile home. Then my son rode with me to get the trencher he had rented for today and we picked up 200' of 1" PVC and the fittings we would need.

It was tremching 100' through some pretty heavily wooded land. I'm exhausted. It was HOT, I changed cloths twice. We finished at 1800 CT.

We had a Hatfield and McCoys shoot out just south of me Thursday night Friday morning. I know one of the guys who was shot.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I woke up at 0330 CT and almost couldn’t go back to sleep… but I did and got up at 0630. You guys had a way more eventful Saturday than I did. Robert, I hope everything turns out ok. Dan, that’s a lot of trenching and pipe to run. I hope you get some rest today, Brother! Scott, those boys sure look happy! I’m having my coffee and I’ll have another before I get moving. I’ve got Sunday school at 0900 and Ch**ch at 1000 hrs. Not much planned other than a NASCAR race later. I’m staying inside this weekend as much as I can.

Thanks John, I've been worried about you after reading numerous posts you wrote concerning your health and pain levels. Just letting you know you're continually on my prayer list. Relax a much as you can today.

I'm sore all over, the non-self propelled trencher that my son rented we both agreed was a poor choice due to so many large roots, it was a battle to pull it through those roots. The trench is so narrow neither of us had a tool narrow enough to clean the dirt out. I know the trencher is designed to put down irrigation lines in lawns but when asked repeatedly the salesman assured use it would work without a hitch through the roots. It didn't.

Burned a vacation day Friday to spend the day in the bathroom. 
Something I ate apparently wanted to eat me.
And yesterday was a mandatory Saturday at work.
So, I promised myself that I would get out of the house and do something today.
At 6 I came to the mancave and fired up the AC units. It's gonna be a hot one.
At least I can run in and out to the shooting deck.
I started out the morning with the Beeman 1358 bullpup. But that's fodder for a different thread.

Good morning, up and running, zoo fed, all vehicle parts are in to start that project(s) and hopefully get one fixed be for it rains again. 10 inches of rain has fallen at my place this past week, so I am underwater in some places again. Yes, the B52 blood suckers are in full force here, fogging has become a nightly ritual lately.

I plan to take pain killers and sit in a recliner.   Screwed up my back good a few days ago.  Haven't done any shooting for about 4 or 5 days.  But I'm sitting in a chair typing so I'm getting better.    I got a lot of catching up to do with yard and garden work.   A lot of shooting to catch up on also.

Right up to the last connection, we failed to pick up a 3/4" NPT check valve. The old one was unusable due to the way the previous line had been cut.
We installed three outside facets and a shut off valve in the line. Fifteen to thirty minutes and we'll be finished. Then there is the chore of back filling the line.

I'm 45 pounds lighter than I was this time last year so bending, squatting, crawling, etc was a lot easier. LOL

Up at the crack of noon!  Wallered in the bed this mornin with the misses and the dogs.  Today is bucket list day for my teeth.  Tomorrow I get the last of them knocked out.  I ate corn on the cob last night,  beef jerky for lunch today, and we’re goin out for mex tonight.  After tomorrow I’ll be on soft food for a few weeks until I get my dentures.

Today I’m gonna go drop some crab pots in a few honey holes,  throw the cast net for a while maybe, and go pier fishing this evening.

Right now I’m gonna go sit in the gazebo and shoot some airguns.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! Back to the grind, of course… up at 0500 CT. Three more days or so of above 100* and we may get some rain the latter half of the week. We need some relief and we really need some rain. And I’m on call this week. This morning I have a job that has had their a/c units’ coils vandalized and damaged and they can’t keep up with the temperatures. It’s only a half hour from home, for a change.

Good morning John and good morning GTA! John I hope you feel better this morning and are quite rested from the weekend. It's Monday once agsin!  I got up at 0430 CT. I didn't sleep well and went to bed woke up with the stomach ache about 10 and didn't get back to sleep till about 1:30 this morning.
