Tell him I had to buy a replacement engine and touch screen display for my gen coupe and I'm not the only one either where they should've designed the car better as that's not the way to keep customers coming back. Maybe wait till your last day of work there to say that.

Better circumstances prevailed...
The VIP decided not to come but rather send "a friend" in his place. Then "the friend's" ETA changed from morning to afternoon which would have given me the chance to change shirts during my lunch break at home.
Ultimately the visit was cancelled all together. Now I look like the only smart guy in the office walking around not wearing a white shirt for no reason.

I think they just enjoy tormenting their workers but maybe he's stuck at home with the squirts all day from eating bad sushi one can only hope. hehehe

Spreading 20 tons of 1 inch cinder rock in 96 degree heat. Getting another 20 tons to spread this afternoon. Then 60 tons tomorrow.😲 Wish it was 🌨️.  I guess I'll be working off those 10 extra pounds I've put on over the next? days.

Good morning GTA! Another hot ahead! Up at 0430 CT. Yesterday I picked some figs and started the process of canning then, this morning I’m finishing the process. They've been simmering for two hours one more to go before putting them in the jars.

While waiting I'm drinking another cup of Colombian dark roast coffee.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! It’s Hump-Day!!! Up at 0430 CT, by my rarely used alarm… today I suppose I would’ve slept through it. Found a note on my coffee maker from my wife: “it was 76* when I went to bed, I think something is wrong with the air conditioner.” Yup, sure enough, I got another leak. Hopefully, this one’s a slow one, but I’ll need to fix it as soon as I get home from work. I added refrigerant until it was running good and set the temperature for 75* so it don’t work too hard. I have an a/c unit to repair with a new expansion valve, then a cooler door I need to fix. Hopefully, I can go home and fix mine after these 2 jobs.

It's not just the heat around here, the humidity is crazy. 76% dew point right now.

Haha! No, this unit I’ve managed to limp along, it does great as long as it can hold a charge. The bottom supports for the coil rub more than they help against vibration. Hopefully it’ll get me through this year and I’ve got to get a replacement. I have one more job to do and hopefully I can get home to fix the leak. It’s 1605 hrs and I just got off the phone with my wife, she said the house has been holding at 75*. It’s 103* right now, 113* is the heat index.

Good morning all, I woke at 5:30 I am finishing my coffee and then the plan is to mow down some weeds for the last time this summer (hopefully!).

 It is suppose to be cooler and only get to 102 today. I am probably going to quit mowing done or not by the time it gets to
 no higher than 90°F though.

  Off to it, if the battery isn't dead on the mower, that is.

Just as I finished mowing the five acres the transaxle or linkage broke? The drivebelt is still in place but the pushing the pedal has no effect. It was good until it wasn't so I think something came apart or broke rather than being worn out.

 I pushed it into the yard where I will look at it in a few days it's not urgent, the property is dirt now and will not need mowed until we get some rain someday. I have a "parts Lawn tractor" was given to me that doesn't run, I can just swap the whole transaxle if need be. This is the second transaxle in this Lawn tractor, I replace it with one off eBay last time.

 I am tempted to just get a new one, but I have my reasons not to. This one is pretty worn and uses some oil but is running great and still has all the power. Scalping the land is hard on the lawn tractor but is the way to go when water is so scarce. AND dirt doesn't burn so we have a good fire barrier.

 A lady that was a good friend of my parents passed away and I have things to do concerning that now. She had no family and I have to make arrangements for her body to be picked up and donated to a Science University as she wished.

 Yesterday morning I (her POA) got a phone call at 2:30 AM to inform me the lady had died and the body could not remain at the nursing home for more than 4 hours. So it had to be transported to a local funeral home until the donation arrangements could be finalized.

  I sure did not expect to be woke to, "Hey you have to get this body out of here NOW!"
 OK that wasn't a quote but it was the message they conveyed. You would think if there is a 4 hour rule or law they would be making arrangements in advance, or trying to at least.

 She was a Nurse before she retired and wanted to donate to the education of future medical professionals. The University will pick up her body later today, so her wish will be fulfilled. She had a brain tumor and had symptoms that were Alzheimer's like. She was 89 years old, for over a year now she didn't converse anymore and was bed ridden for longer the last couple of years. 

 I am glad for her sake that she is past that now and I believe on to better things.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Yesterday I had an early start to a long, hot and very hard day. Crane was on site at 0600 for a rooftop unit changeout at the mall and 2 compressors for another unit on the other side of the mall. So, I slept in until 0530 this morning. Today I have my chiropractor, I have parts to pickup, then a 2 hour ride for a new site with an air conditioning call.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Woke up early with a headache... real early, like 0310 CT early.  I had been trying to decide if I wanted to order another Airmax scope since D'vor has them on sale for a couple of days. This morning I pulled the trigger so to speak and ordered another Hawke Airmax 4-12x40AO scope. I'll replace the Nikko Stirling Gameking 3.5-10x44 that's on my D460 and put this scope on that rifle.

Boy's day planned..literally!
Daughter #3 is home from Virginia for her Baby Shower and my "Sin-in-Law" and his two boys, along Grandson from Daughter #1 are all coming here for the day.
 Plans are filled with airgunning, swimming, and Hot-dogs on the grill. There should be a total of 5 Red Ryders here to even the playing field, but I have dug out guns I haven't shot in a long time to pass around.
So excited I couldn't sleep. Setting up the range before the sun is up.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I slept in until 0700 CT. I’m wiped out. No plans today. I’m sure we’ll eat food & go in the pool later. I’ll have to pull out an air rifle, just to say I did.
