We're headed down to 15 below zero tonight, that is not good for March!

Woke up this morning after sleeping at the in law's house with a terribly painful left shoulder, I have an appointment with urgent care tomorrow to see what's going on, pretty sure it's rotator cuff but I am completely in denial.

The weather predicts 25* tonight, I am running around here this morning stuffing plants in the shop and travel trailer. Cover up the rest when I get home tonight. I hope this is the last of this mess, I need fruit this year.

I was up most of the night. The wind sounded like a freight train. We live in the woods in a mobile home.... 
I moved all the vehicles out from under the trees last night. I know I heard a section of metal under penning come loose and bang against the trailer right back by the bedroom. I got all 3 bricks lit on the propane heater this morning. I'll get out at daylight and check the damage.
The wind is still blowing pretty good.

Same here Bill, waiting for daylight for damage control. Had a possible tornado just north the house this morning, no power flashes so it was probably hovering as came through. The roar didn't last long. Just glad this weather system moved through quick, looking forward to some sunshine for a change.

Yep and we get to set the clocks forward tonight to enjoy another hour a day of it after work.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday!!! Up at 0345 CT. It is really cold right now, about 20*, with about 4” of snow left. It’s supposed to get into the 40*s today and after that, no more freezing temperatures for us in the forecast. My wife & the girls are going into town probably around 0900… I’d like to shoot some airguns a bit. Tonight is our monthly Barn Meeting.

Hope all goes well with your shoulder, David… I’m holding out getting my right shoulder looked at, too much work to be done yet. I’m pretty sure when I’m ready I’ll go straight to my ortho dr. Let us know how your urgent care visit goes. I’ll pray for you, Brother.

Good morning fellow airgunners! Happy Saturday to you!!! Up at 0400CT. It is pretty chilly here right now, about 30° and will only warm up to 48°, tomorrow morning they are predicting 25°.  I may make some new spinners and work on the new spinner rack today.

Just got back in from a walkabout with the dogs and to access wind damage.
That wind is cold out there.
There is an 8" diameter dead tree that came down across the back... no issue.
The metal under penning was easy to fix.
The biggest issue is a corner of the tin roofing on one of the lean tos at the mancave/bar blew up. It's pretty bent up but I have a few 20' sections down in the barn that I can replace it with.

We got a guy coming to look at the RV today. If he buys it we're going to pay off the Titan. I owe Killer the last $200 on the GMC and that will be done this month. That takes a big chunk off our monthly bills. Next reduction will be to pay off the Rancher ATV. I'm more than halfways there in savings that I've been stashing.
We're getting closer to making retirement more comfortable. I have one more year from this month to prepare.
I still need to get the X Mark Z turn in the shop and get it ready to put in service. Mowing will suppliment the income.

It is -11 F at my place this morning.
It is supposed to warm all the way up to +25 F this afternoon.
Yesterday the wind blew hard and the temps stayed around +9F, with sub zero wind chills.
We are supposed to see +40's F this comming week.
In those warm temperatures, the 17-20 inches of snow outside will start melting off.
Hooray....spring is finally here !

It is currently 29°F but we will see 77°F today.
I think I will go for a motorcycle ride south through the Anza Borrego desert and up into the San Diego mountains and back today. Or maybe ride out to the Salton Sea? If my wife is free to go, if not I may go anyway but probably not.

I love going to Julian Ca but my wife doesn't enjoy riding if it is cold at all and the High there today is suppose to be 63 and winds at 10mph. The Salton Sea/Desert might be a better choice today.

Thank you John, advil isn't touching the pain so I'm afraid there is tissue damage. I'm working until I can get a MRI about noon today and I'm going to do an online consultation with the orthopedic surgeon I used on my right shoulder a decade ago after I get the scan.

99% sure the tendon is torn, not just inflamed or impinged.

Turns out it's bursitis. Feels just like a rotator injury to me but the surgeon said I am a "wuss" (he is not wrong), getting a shot later to reduce the pain and inflammation but he says it looks to be chronic.

OH MY GOOD LORD that sucker hurt! Or should I say burned? Yes, seems I have subacromial bursa impingement caused by callus of the acromion process of the scapula. Layman's terms, the old shoulder bone break is pushing down on the bursa causing irritation and inflammation.

My right shoulder is a wreck, "snap crackle pop" and pain, I haven't gone to the Dr. yet but I can relate to you David and John.

Today I need to clean my room, I have so much stuff crammed in there I can hardly get to the workbench.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday!!! Up at 0452… 0552 CDST… The Barn Meeting was great, it went long though. I got home about 2200, my wife said it was 2300… I said no way, she set the clocks ahead already for bedtime. Oh well. Ch**ch this morning and not much after that, small group is canceled tonight. I think I’ll watch the NASCAR race later. 

I’ve had that bursitis in my left elbow since about 9 years ago, David. I had problems at first and had it drained a couple times because it just blew up. Mine seems to have calmed down after that. Hopefully yours will calm down too with treatment and being conscious of it. A buddy showed me pictures of the 2 screws and rod in his shoulder last night. What a sight.
