Today will be interesting...
I woke up last night to a message on my phone.... apparently one of my forklifts caught fire.
I'll see if I can find anything on my cameras this morning.
While I was on the phone with the safety department, she told me that a large coil of steel landed on someone's foot in the press department and the injuries appear to be quite serious.

I woke up this morning to a voicemail from my Brother...
They found my Sister not breathing in her bed and had an ambulance transport her to the hospital. They now have her in a coma and it's not looking good.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CT. I slept really well, because I didn’t get much sleep at the hotel Monday night. Our meetings went really good and I’m glad to be home. Today I have a compressor to replace in a cooler and I have to pick up a compressor for another job.

Dan, I hope your doctor appointment goes good for you, Brother.

Bill, sorry for all the not so good news. I pray all goes well at work, and healing for your sister.

Good morning GTA! Bill it was sad to read about your sister. Like John, I'll add her to my prayers.  Also the injured employee.

John my doctor's appointment was excellent. Blood pressure 135/70 and A1C was 6.1.   I have lost 20 lbs since my previous visit so my doctor was super pleased.

It's chilly outside but I'm wanting to go out and work on my new spinner rack but may decide to shoot some first. Yesterday I fine tuned the scope on my Diana 34 and was hitting 1" spinners at 35 yds.

Just an update for you guys that replied...

They are transporting my Sister to Pensacola to test her for brain activity.
She is now on life support. That is something she has always said she does not want.
My niece may have other thoughts about that and without a DNR (not sure if my Sister has one) things could get a bit ugly. My Brother has been with my Sister for the past few months. He is retired Navy and is quite outspoken. I expect him to fight to support my Sister's wishes.
I believe we all have the right to choose. Only I know my understanding of what's to be. Only I know the depths of my Faith.

Well it rains on the just and it rains on the unjust and right now it is raining on my garden.  It’s been (relatively) dry here for a spell and we need this rain.  Up at the crack of noon and I’ve already got a good buzz going.  Might shoot the BB gun out the back window or I might chase the memsahib around the house.

The latest is that they decided not to send for scan after all. This is because she is now waking from time to time and fighting the life support. This indicates brain activity. However, they have to sedate her again and she cannot breathe on her own.
There may be some confusion here as I am getting information from my Brother who is getting it from my niece.

In the meantime, I stopped by the 'doggie jail' and gave them a heads up about needing to drop Rambo and Boss off for a couple day's sentence at a moment's notice. Rambo and Boss are honorable 'inmates' and they said just to call, day or night as they now have someone on site 24/7.

Again.... small town living is the best.

Bill, my heart goes out to you, we will be saying goodbye to my MIL tomorrow, I cannot imagine how hard it will be to loose my sisters.  :'(

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Up at 0330 CT. I’m going to head into work early. We have some weather coming in tomorrow. I’ve got a helper today for a compressor to change in an outside reach in cooler. Should be fun.

It's 47° right now and is supposed to get up tp 72° with winds NNE @ 5 - 6 mph. Sounds like a good day to shoot the Diana 34 Classic .177.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! Up at 0355 CT. Yesterday was a lot of work, but it went very well. Today, I have a long ride through the mountains to Jasper to change out the last cooler compressor I have and to replace some door hinges. On the way out I’ll stop and visit my chiropractor. It seems we’re not going to get as much snow as expected, so my travels should be ok. If it gets bad, I’ll turn around.

Good morning GTA! For all you who work M-F today is your favorite day,  Friday!!! Up at 0515 CT. It 47° now, gonna warm up to 76° today then drop down tonight to below freezing. Weird.

Today I want to shoot my Diana 34, I planned to yesterday but I never got around to it. I have a little over 500 pellets down the barrel and it seems to have completely settled in. The last shooting session with this rifle was shot using the slip-on butt pad and it really helped.

Our 10 day forecast looks real good. I have a bunch of outdoor cleanup and maintenance to do and I need to get it all done before it starts getting too hot out. I still need to put the sign that blew down back up by the driveway. I have got it put back together and painted the posts and frame. I clamped and fix the cracked board and gave it another coat of paint after this pic. I just need help to get it put back and everyone has been busy.

Yesterday I had to pull weeds and clean up my place in town. The hedge is still looking good so at least it will be a while before I need to trim it again.
