I am a Fish Keeper and the local pet store learned if they want my money, do NOT put Tarantulas at the counter where I have to pay... I smashed four just to pay for a $10 bag of fish food.
If I was in Afghanistan I would run screaming away from those Camel Spiders.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CT. Not sure what I’m doing today, the covering dispatcher didn’t give out first calls on Friday. I’ll have to call in at 0800 hrs. So, I’m just having coffee with the dogs.

Back to work this morning after a productive day of running fence to keep the dogs in the yard.
Short 3 day week then back after that for three weeks before 2 week Winter shutdown.
I look forward to this time of year. I can handle the colder weather better than the sweltering 2 week shutdown in July.

Mornin again. I had a beautiful walk in the woods this a.m. I drove up to my favorite stretch of the Florida trail and sat in a big grove of oak, beech, and pig nut hickory. As the sun came up the squirrels began barking and squalling all around me. But they were keeping their distance. I only got two shots and both missed. I hiked about a mile up the river trail and back but saw no squirrels there. I saw no edible mushrooms either. The weather was perfect for hunting or hiking so it was a great day!

Actually good evening y'all. Spent the day going through stuff now I have a pile of shoes, boots, and sandals to wade through and send a good part of them to the charity bin most are in good condition just got buried in the back of the bedroom clothes closet and forgotten. Went grocery shopping for the camper mostly nonperishables and canned goods for the pantry. I will stock up on perishables the day before I hit the road for Arizona next month. The camper is completely upgraded on all the rolling gear and towing hardware. All the minor issues have been corrected including the installation of a new freshwater pump with a pressure switch and two new flow check valves between the city water hook up and the pump to prevent back feeding the pump or pushing out the water connection when there is no hose connected to the city water supply.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! If you watched Wheel of Fortune last night, one of the puzzles was “Happy Monday”.

Up at 0330, didn’t get moving until 0400 CT. Having coffee with the dogs and then this morning I’ll head to Ft. Smith for my first job of the day. Hoping for a good day, maybe even get done early by leaving out early.

You’re right, but I’m trying. Finished that first job by 0930… now I’m about to replace a compressor for someone else. These ones don’t take very long, so I’m hoping to be home before the sun goes down at least.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. I’m having coffee with the little dog, Millie. Chopper didn’t want to get up yet. It’s really windy outside and seems it’s going to be a steady 20 mph, at least, all day from the south. Today I took my first PTO day (we get 2 a year now). So, I’m off until Monday. The only thing I have planned so far, I have to take my wife to work at 1130, and my middle daughter Mahayla to the DMV at 1230. The girls & I will straighten up the house here & there while my wife’s at work. I suppose I’ll pop a target here & there as well, and maybe find a couple things to do outside or in the garage. It’s supposed to rain tonight and the temperature is supposed to drop for Thanksgiving. I hope everyone that’s traveling stays safe & has a Happy Thanksgiving!

Good Morning all. Today I tow the travel trailer out to the RV center 45 miles away. This will be the first time towing the trailer at highway speeds so I will be able to fine-tune the electric brakes and get a feel for the F150 pulling onto the highway. I'm not sure what to expect from the acceleration getting onto the highway.

Another workday, then we're off 6 days in a row. We hope to start staining the new cabinets after work, and maybe get the skim-coat on the floor wrapped up. Also gotta make a trip to visit my folks at the assisted living place to bring some decorations for the holidays.

It's the usual stuff. Work on the house, take care of family, maybe some time for shooting.
