Good morning GTA! It’s the day before Friday! Up at 0400 CT. I’m having coffee with the dogs, it’s a bit cooler this morning- about 40*, but supposed to get to the mid 50*s today. I’ve got another Starbucks PM to do because 2 other guys couldn’t figure out how to get the roof access key and never called to ask. Should be a good day for it though. Tomorrow morning is supposed to be below freezing.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. We've been home a week from our week long visit with our daughter and her family in Memphis. I've had a lot to do to catch up on the chores around here. Yesterday my wife's aunt (94 years old) had to be taken to the hospital from the nursing home. Her aunt's daughter's husband has Covid so she asked if Pam could meet the ambulance there. Long story short, 5 hours to see the doctor, after an hour they decide to keep her. Another 5 hours to get her into a room. That's ridiculous.

Arrive at hospital by ambulance at 3pm and finally admitted 11 hours later.

It's worse here in Minnesota right now, the Twin Cities are stacking people up in hallways and in PT areas due to lack of beds. Up here, we have beds available but NAR, RN, LPN, NA and DR's are scarce so we cannot fill our beds to to lack of medical care persons.

Shoveling snow again today, so far about 5" over the past several days and highs of 26 F.

Glad to see you back on the GTA, Brother Dan! Sorry to hear about Mrs. Pam’s aunt and the ordeal at the hospital. I pray everything turns out alright for her, and you all.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Up at 0400 CT. I’m not sure what I’m doing today, yet. The office didn’t give me a job for today and communication has been minimal. I’ll have to call in at 0800 to find out if I’m going to work. For the moment, I’m having my coffee and hoping it warms up to 55* like they’re saying. It’s about 28* right now.

I spoke with a extended family member who is an ER nurse at this hospital. She said the whole problem revolves around lack of staff to man some of the wards.

I remember back in the day having my birthday fall on a Friday was an occasion all it's own. To me it was an excuse to get extra lit with the entire weekend to recover from the festivities. Or maybe even extend them for a day or two longer.. 
Not so much today.. the goal today will be to treat it as any other day and attract as little attention as possible that I'm friggin getting old.
I guess it ain't so bad... I remember not having much hope that I would even reach this day.
I'm grateful all that changed.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CT. Happy Saturday! It should get into the low 60*s today, so I’m planning on shooting some airguns. I blew the leaves again yesterday, after work, hopefully that should do it for this fall, for the big stuff at least. Later on I’m going to put some Christmas lights up outside and then we’ll feed the birds & deer.

Good morning GTA! It’s Sunday, Fun-Day! I’m having my coffee before the girls wake up. This morning we have Ch**ch at 1000 hrs, but small group has already been canceled for this evening. Just as well, my wife has to go grocery shopping this afternoon since she had to work the past couple days. I plan to shoot a little, tidy up my van a little and finish the outdoor Christmas lights & decorating with Ayrabella. Since it’s still been fairly warm, I may run over that part of the lawn with the mower first, one last time.

Betty Lou has spoken. Of the three top projects for the day she prioritized the fencing job.
They converted an old airport hanger into a party venue at the airport behind us. They rent out to weddings and such. It's a beautiful place and they did a great job. It's also very popular and something is happening every weekend and usually going on into the wee hours.
Rambo and Boss, being the party animals that they are, are very much attracted to the sounds of good times being had and are drawn like magnets to the festivities. The sparse 50+ year old fence does little to keep them from party crashing. That needs to be remedied.
So, that's my plan for today... a new anti dog device between here and there. We have the dog pen. It's 8 panels of chain link that are 6' tall and 10' wide. I'm going to remove the fencing from the frames and cut the frames into posts. Then I will cut the fencing down to 3' and 'sew' it all together. That gives me 80' of 3' fencing to work with.
These dogs are long enough in the tooth that they can't jump over 3'.

Getting the house "presentable" for Thanksgiving.
 Hoosier Momma is a meticulous house keeper... UPSTAIRS....But lets me "live" in the family room and my bedroom to my desire.
