Good morning GTA!!! Dang Don & Bill! Hope you both recover quickly & heal from your battle wounds.
Up at 0500 CT, back to the grind, and boy is this going to be fun. 
My dispatcher quit, my service manager got fired and then the backup dispatcher quit due to the drama.
Our office is upside down again, and the covering personnel from another office don’t know us technicians nor our geography. Oh well, I’m just going to do what I can do and as long as my pay shows up, it’s all good (errr… it is what it is).

I already did 10 miles on the Expresso Bike, showered, made breakfast. 70 degrees today and tomorrow, I'm going trout fishing. Stop at a feed lot this morning I haven't shot at since last winter, confirm I still have pesting permission. Clouds of Starlings at this place, along with feral pigeons and collared doves.

I don't even feel it this morning. If it weren't for the scrape and welt on my hand I wouldn't even know it happened.
Yes, back to the grind.... this time of the year we are trying to wrap things up. Nov and Dec are short months with Thanksgiving and the Winter shutdown so both month's closings are early and we have year end closing in Dec. before the shutdown. Along with that, this year, we are launching a new model. NQ5A is the new model code for the DN8A which are the Sonata.
New robot lines installing/testing and new dies for the press department. Also coordinating logistics for parts from around the World and the USA. The broken supply chain makes that a juggling act, to say the least. Then on top of that is the continuing microchip issues.
Hectic is an understatement.

The new fan blade and the motor arrived last night for my stove exhaust hood in the camper soI will be heading over there to finish installing the check valves on the water system then replace the motor and fan blade for the exhaust hood.

Spent yesterday shooting, hanging with the dogs and buzzing around the hood on the ATVs.
Shot 2 of my favorite pcp guns, the Fortitude and Air Speed. Both gave big smiles at 45yds.
I got red bricks buried flush in the yard marking 25, 50, 75yds. and my backstop out at 100 so I know right where I set targets.
I was shooting ChiCom reset flippers, Shoot n See targets and beer cans.
I was filling the Fortitude with my 30min scba when the oring in the QD let go at 2500 psi. It whipped and slapped the back of my left hand taking a layer or 2 of skin and leaving a nice 2 inch welt. Could have been much worse but I had my right hand on the valve control and instinctively turned it off right away. Dang that hurt.
At a rare moment, Rambo was hanging out with me while I was shooting. He usually goes inside when I shoot. However, when that hose let go he jumped up and got gone.

He wasn't scared and running from you, he was bravely running to momma to get you help asap.

Poor Rambo hehehe. Reminds me of the clip I saw on AFV last night of a guy falling through the 2nd floor into the living room roof scaring all 3 "guard dogs" away leaving dad to defend himself from the intruder. Had to watch that several times it was great.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Up at 0500 CT. Having coffee with the dogs and I’ll roll out to work here pretty soon. I’ve got a PM inspection and filter change to do first thing. I’ve got some boxes of parts that showed on my doorstep that I’ll have to open up and figure out what they’re for. Other than that, just hanging in there.

The .25 DAR is on the road to a new owner, threw in a tin of home cast 46 gr RN, dont tell him! Keep it a surprise! 

Got a check valve installed on the lift station, 10 cords of woods all stowed and since I have the day off on Thursday, I'll fire up the casting pot and get to making more 46gr RN for the DARling.

Plans this weekend include a complete teardown of the .177 DAR, barrel clean and polish, trigger work and polish, reg tuning and cutting the HS down.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0400 CT. It sure has been windy since yesterday. Might get some rain today and looks like it’s going to keep on with the wind for awhile. I’ve got my 0600 Wednesday morning meeting and then a service call for an under counter cooler leaking water onto the floor.

It's that time of year when each department at work has to submit it's business plan for the next year. Expenditure validations and budget requests always turn into a slugfest of justifications. Of course the materials department makes up 55% of the company's expenses.... derrrr, we supply the whole process. Maybe, just maybe they should take a longer look at those department that use the materials and reduce the waste of it.
Yesterday I watched them install 3 new water filtering stations. One of which went into the HR/Accounting offices beside a brand new ice machine so the folks in that office can have filtered water to make their coffee and a cube of ice to cool it down.
And by the way, it was all Korean made, sold and installed. What happened to 'support local business'?
Anyways... so much for getting myself fired up and ready for the day.... y'all have a good one.

Just had a preliminary interview with a candidate for a 2nd shift position I have open.
I snatched him out of orientation for a few minutes just to see if he had any interest.
I got busted and they made me let him go back to orientation.... 
It looks promising and I'll get to speak to him again after.

I’ve got a sinus infection so I called in to work and said I wasn’t coming.  Fortunately I was non-essential today.  I went out and sat in my garden for an hour.  Now I’m looking forward to an after lunch nap.
I’m doped up on good meds and not really uncomfortable.

I’m doped up on good meds and not really uncomfortable.

At least you don't have to pay a citation for speeding like I got today after a 2hr dr visit. So be it I don't sweat the small stuff. I ain't getting shot at or dying in the hospital life is good. Besides they don't call me lead foot for nothing.

A speeding ticket, in Texas?    Everyone always drives way faster than me in Texas, on the highways at least. I figured they didn’t do tickets there.

State troopers are plenty on the freeways but the popo got me in the city today.
