Good time to be in the AC repair business I think! Sorry you are having issues Dan. Late field today. I’ll be out in the heat all day but at least I’ll be moving. I was stuck in the sweat box (ranger station) on Tuesday. No insulation, inadequate air conditioning, it was about 115 in there with all the electronics running. I took a stool outside where it was cooler.
Good morning, up @ 530, feel like I wasted some of the day but I’ll get over it. Out of town company coming today so the honeydooo list is long. Just got back from grocery pick up and gonna get some food in me to maintain my good humor. Got the trap line toning in the garden. Two chippy and a mouse so far. The game cam picked up a skunk the other day. We are overrun with them. I surged up the fence around the garden in hope of keeping them out.One of these nights I am going to have to stay up and play nachtjager.

Glad it was just a start cap when I worked as a mechanic I would always check the start and run caps along with the contactor contacts for pitting when doing the annual maintenance of A/C condensers whether it was residential or commercial equipment. If they looked questionable I would recommend replacement and if the customer declined it was on the service ticket as such. that way when it failed in August they had nothing to complain about.

If you use tp then finish with wet wipes you're good to go. A big box of them is cheap and will last a long time. Don't flush the wipes though, bag em and trash em.
