Day off.  Up at ten (!).  Gonna take the memsahib somewhere today just to get her out of the house.  She is recovering from surgery and has bad cabin fever.  Maybe take a drive over toward Wewa and visit Chris!

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0415 CST. Yesterday was just a weird day. I forgot that we moved our 0600 Tuesday morning meeting to Wednesday. Then the equipment that was to be brought out didn’t show up until 1115 hrs. Then, when I finished the job at 1400, I was done for the day. Came home & (frustratingly) verified my scope on the Parrus needs to go in for warranty. So, I had tacos. 

Today, I have my Wednesday morning meeting and then a Spring PM on a Starbucks. When I get home I’ll fill out the warranty thing on the Leapers site and go from there.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0500 CDST. Yesterday it rained off and on all day.  Today we have a severe weather forecast.  It's 68° now calm but in a couple of hours the rain will start and by noon the high winds, hail, thunderstorms will begin and they are expected to continue for 14 hours they are saying.

Yesterday I changed the Mantis 3-9x32AO that I had on my Diana RWS-460 to a Nikko STIRLING GAMEKING 3.5-10X44.  With the accuracy the 460 has at shown at 45 yards I'm thinking the fine etched reticle on the GAMEKING will be beneficial for shooting at longer distances.

I didn't have enough of the JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 pellets to sight it in but I will get my shipment in Friday.

Up at 5:45 so far it's been coffee and GTA. Only thinking s scheduled today is Hossier Momma gets a beach massage.
 I may try something strenuous like rubbing on some #15 sunblock.

Carter, you and me both! Up at 9:30, SO LAZY! But felt so good! We were up till after midnight as the meds for mommas eyes act like caffeine and kept her up late.

Momma is doing fine, laser surgery is amazing stuff!

Today is my day off before a long run at work, that's ok since it's going to rain the next 5 days.

I have pellets to cast today, targets to shoot and time to relax!

My previous employer thought that was the way to increase the workday, by scheduling a later start time. I questioned “Can you explain to me how starting off the day behind going to help?” Over the years many supervisors tried it, all with the same result, allowing us to go back to an early start time. In retail it makes a lot of sense to prepare for business, and then do it, LOL.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0430 CDST. Yesterday it rained off and on all day and from noon on till 2200 CDST we were mostly under watches or warnings for severe weather. Rainfall was under an inch at my location. It's 59° now and it's only going to warm up to 62°. Sunny and very windy today with WNW winds at or near 15 mph all day.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0440 CST. I suppose we’re not so busy at work yet, I don’t have a first call this morning. I was ready to get back to work Monday, after vacation, I worked 10.5 hours. The past 2 days I only worked about 3 hours each. I’ll get the girls off to school at 0700 and call the office at 0800. If they don’t have anything for me to do today, I guess I’ll make my first lawn cut today. The grass (weeds) are getting pretty thick & tall in most places.

Last week I think I posted that my grass (spring weeds) wouldn't need to be cut for a couple more weeks. Well that may have been wishful thinking.  My yard is looking pretty ragged as well John. I think I'm going to still wait to cut till the first of next week. (It will take a day to pick up all the limbs on the 6 acres I'm cutting. )
