Good Morning GTA! Up at 0600 CDST. It's 41° kinda chilly now and will warm up to 67° under beautiful sunny skies.  Winds will be NW @ 7 mph.
It looks like a beautiful day to shoot some. I finished my pellet inventory and I discovered I may just need some more... haha.

John I've had a UTG scope (3-9x40AO True Hunter) pull that trick on me be before also. Long story short I never figured out if I actually dreamed it was messed up or not.  It resides on another softer shootin' rifle now.  So far so good.

Up at 5, oldest daughter sent me some craft roasted coffee so gobbled down a cup of "Hello Darkness" and a cookie momma bought home last night.

Attended a gala last night, typical banquet style meal, not a single mask in the place,  no distancing, almost normal kind of party.

Lots of wind from the south last night, house was creaking a lot, hard to sleep. I'll get on the 6x6 and assess the damage tonight.

I'll fire up the pot and cast more .25 WC tonight so I can sit down monday after work with a cerveza and the DARling .25 and get me some chickens while toasting the arrival of spring.

Apparently, my Parrus .22 has a ridiculous amount of barrel droop and the scope adjusted that much for elevation didn’t like it. I was pretty sure I could see it from across the room, but the barrel is straight through to the breach block, I don’t want to bend it. That’s why it shoots so great with the open sights, being the rear sight is mounted on that block.

Since it is DST now my work has moved to our summer schedule.  I don’t go to work until noon these days.  So I get up when I feel like it.  Might go fishing today. I’ll take an airgun along for sure.  Might take the memsahib for a drive along the coast.  I need to run some crab pots before the weather warms up.  Need to scout some locations for turkey hunting. I ought to take a cast net and work the tidal creeks for mullet.  The options are endless when you live in paradise!

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0415 CDST. It's 43° kinda chilly now and will warm up to 73° under beautiful mostly sunny skies but the clouds will start rolling in this afternoon.  Winds will be SE @ 7 mph. Its supposed to start raining after midnight and rain then for the next three days.

I'm going today and cut the first time this year the only yard I cut for hire. Tons of leaves I'll need to mulch up so I dread it.

Hopefully this afternoon I'll get to shoot some.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0445 CDST. It was a real nice weekend for me. It’s Monday morning and I don’t have a first call for work yet. Most likely there’ll be something from the weekend, I’ll call at 0800 if the office don’t let me know first. I’m having coffee, let the dogs out and I have to take the trash up to the road.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0511 CDST. Yesterday whooped my butt. 11.5 hours working on one machine, mostly on a ladder. Hauled 6 gallons of ice and at least 20 gallons of water out of a freezer, and it was a slow going process. It was full of product, nowhere to put it, and I didn’t want them to have to lose it. Once again, I don’t have a first call today. I’m having coffee and I’ll figure out what’s up with today when I talk to the office.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0545 CDST. It's 60°  and will warm up to 68°. Its supposed to start raining after anytime now and rain for the next three days. Oh joy.

Yesterday I cut around 6 acres with my zero turn, 5 acres of my yard I didn't finish Sunday afternoon and the yard I cut for gun money.

I may work on making some more spinners today or not.

I forced myself to stay in bed because my right hip is really hurting (that did not help). I got up at 8:00. My left hip that usually has a lot of pain is pain free today. I think my little dog crowded me all night to the edge of the bed and that has something to do with the switch because I would wake to turn over and have to stay put or disturb her and I choose to not disturb her.
  The dog is getting old and my wife or I help her onto the bed now most of the time now.
  It's also raining this morning It was 48 when I got up and it is 54 now. It is suppose to stop raining this after noon according to "weather channel". Yesterday the forecast was clear today and Wednesday, so they got one of three wrong so far this week, LOL.
  I was going to do some yard work today, now maybe I'll just relax?
  I got a new Chain Saw yesterday and have to wait to use it now.

Sorry to hear that Dan. I hope you feel better soon, the weather can sure play havoc on joint pain!

I got my lazy but out from under the warm comforter at 9:00 this morning, going to rain all day so I am going to focus my one day off on casting .25 pellets. I have a cull rate of 50% now, I need to strip the mold down and polish it, the pellets are so small that any flashing makes them shotgun.

Momma's out looking at UTV's, she didn't like the idea of spending all her savings on a UTV so she is looking at some smaller ones. The ground here is too soft to pull the camper out of the barn so I may have to park the 6x6 under a tarp for a bit.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0355 CDST. Dumped half a bowl of sugar while making coffee! Somebody got the lid wet, ever done that? My first 2 cups are usually with a half teaspoon of sugar and a shot of milk. After that it’s just black, no sugar. I had enough brain working to get a dust pan and soft brush instead of firing up the vacuum.

I didn’t work yesterday, just worked in the garage some and out front some. The girls are on Spring break. Took the training wheels off of Ayrabella’s bike (again), she’s almost got it this time. And then we threw darts in the garage.

I’ve got my Wednesday morning meeting, we moved from Tuesday, at 0600. Then off to Keota, OK for a freezer call that’s been trouble for some other guys. Today should be a good day.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0435 CDST.  I drink my coffee black, no sugar, no creamer. Once in a blue moon (last time was over a year ago) I'll drink flavored coffee with a little sugar or I'll drink a cappuccino. Those are usually when someone offers me that because my favorite is definitely black. I know I drink way too much coffee, in the winter probably 8 to 10 cups a day, in summer about 5 or 6.

My first great grandchild was born yesterday, a 7 lb 6 oz baby boy, mother and child are doing well. We chose not to visit them in the hospital because due to Covid only one person at a time is allowed to visit them. Since they live really close we'll wait to see Easton when he comes home.

It rained ALL day yesterday and will continue raining till Saturday.  We are going this morning to make a curbside grocery run. My first time in  rainy weather should be interesting.

Plans are on hold due to rainy weather.

Thanks guys. It's still soaking in.  We haven't had a baby in the family in seven years.
