Sounds like you had to hit each shift just right. If you know how a shifter on a bike is, there probably was a neutral spot between each gear.
Quote from: Sqrl Klr on January 23, 2021, 03:25:40 PMWhat do you use to make coyote bait? They'll eat anything dead so if you have a ice chest and a pair of gloves in your ride where you come across a road kill you can toss it in the chest and take it home. I've used hog guts in the past whenever I killed one but now that I have coyote calls to use from a hunter app on my phone along with a bluetooth speaker I'll just use that speaker to draw them in. Way cheaper than using a critter caller and is just as loud if you have a good speaker. I've thought about using the hunting app on my phone connected via bluetooth in my car to use it's speakers which would be crazy loud deep bass hog calls to bring them in from long range.I use cheap dry dog food, the greasier the better, canned makeral, it's cheap at dollar general or dollar tree, freezer burned meat, and salt to keep it from rotting quickly. As for road kills, not many to pick up around here, they are eaten immediately or turned into road pizzas before 9 a.m. I use to work for FDOT as a road pizza scraper, I'm not to keen on picking up road kills. As for calls, I use the Cass Creek Nomad. I have 3 sound units and the remote so I have 3 different locations to call from.

Do you have an old fry pan to hang for a target?? Bang a GONG!
Yes, good morning, should be a couple of good games today I sure hope Maholmes will be able to play. I'd love to see Maholms against Brady in the Super Bowl! Hey John, is it just me or do I see your arsenal slowly growing?
Quote from: Jshooter71 on January 24, 2021, 07:19:30 AMGood Morning GTA! After Ch**cc I’ll have my buddy over to shoot some air rifles and talk about his upcoming first air rifle purchase. Should be fun,....Have to figure out what’s for lunch, we don’t have guests often. You might suggest a XS25 from FDAR. With Mike magic touch.

I see a lot of road kill with no damage at all where it would be no issue to take home. I guess they bounce away after impact. 3 callers seems slick. Could keep the critters standing longer in utter confusion trying to make sense of what they're experiencing once they arrive near you.
Dan you mean it’s not sweaty every day down there?
Quote from: Struckat on January 25, 2021, 08:38:53 AMDan you mean it’s not sweaty every day down there? LOL, now that you mention it. Yes it's sweaty almost every day in South Mississippi. I think our winter is over. But my concrete floor in my enclosed garage only sweats a couple or three times a year. Today is one of those days. The air is thick, hard to breathe. I have a headache. I'm sitting in my sniper hide outside drinking coffee now contemplating my day.

Bet you see plenty of eyes at night with a flashlight?Drink a quart of water, sometimes that helps.
Too cold, I would end up with what we used to call “ Broken-down snowmobile hands.”

It give the effect of the caller moving around, I have found the coyotes can't stand that. I start with the farthest and work my way back to my shooting range. They have discontinued this unit. If you can find them new or use ebay it would be worth it.https://casscreek.com/product/nomad-electronic-predator-call/
