Well it feels good to be back to work, saw two customers this morning and got two jobs. I gotta replace all of the hinges in one guys kitchen and I have to make  new formica counter tops and install for the other guy. As long as I have my health I'm never going to retire, I love what I do too much!

Coffee time currently.  Shop is heating up.  30 degrees this morning. 

Plan is to work on the QB78 project.  Cut and drilled the tube to length and deburred.  Also lightened the hammer by grinding some material off.  Thinking about possibly redrilling and tapping both the tube and tank block.  I missed by just a little the first time and though I was able to make it work, I think I'd like to have it right on BUT,  I really could mess up both pieces trying to make it perfect and then I would have to spend more $$$ that I don't want to spend to replace parts.....  Guess I'll test what I have already done first.  In this case good enough is good enough.  Pieces all fit and I will need to do a leak test since that is what this parts replacement is all about to begin with.  I'm planning on making either a SSG or a RVA for it.  Still trying to figure how I want to do it.  I don't want anything sticking out of the rear of the action.  I want it all contained and hidden inside, no indications visible from the outside.  I want a clean look not a cheeseball home modified look.

I took some benadryl last night at the suggestion of my wife. It helped, I didn't wakeup till 05:15 cst.

Still waiting on scope to arrive for my HW50 .22(Tiger Stripe).

Sunday was the Walther Parrus  .22
Yesterday was the Weihrauch 50 .22
Today?  Yep, gotta be the Weihrauch 50 .22

That’s great, Dan, looks like it’s going to rain here a bit, until New Year’s day. I worked a little over 12 hours yesterday, not a bad day back to work. Today I got up at 0511 CST, I have a Harbor Freight with a humming/buzzing motor. Hopefully I can luck out and find inside work the rest of the week. With New Year’s day on a Friday, I’ll have a 3 day weekend.

Back at work this morning and my toothache is considerably better.  Finishing up a little paperwork in the penalty box and then I'll be out in the field.  Today I may mow fire lines with the tractor or I may take an ATV and go GPS waypoints in our new 17,000 acre acquisition!

Out of bed @ 0850.  Made mochas and lattes.  Read, surfed, went on a chilly walk with wife and some of the kids.  Surfed a little while a pot of coffee dripped.  Building a robot with Sean.  He is batching out 8 legs (Spider robot) and I’m writing this sipping java. 

QB78 passed the overnight leak test!  YAY!  Gonna scrub the barrel and polish it and maybe add a small shim to the hammer spring for a little more hammer strike.  Will do some group and velocity testing afterwards.  Waiting for some wood burrs to deliver today to go with my new rotary tool.  Thinking about adding some more detail to the QB78 stock.

 We got all our projects at work completed yesterday so I have no real plans for today.
I will find out when my "Activities Coordinator" (wife) wakes up.

Rats made an appearance and I am waiting get a video of them eating their LeadFast.

Today more testing of the new Taipan Vet shroud internals at 80 yards. Maybe shoot the Marlin 30/30 and 9mm LW.

God I hope I get some work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My website got hacked and they setup redirects to Viagara... lost 7 years of VERY good SEO. Waiting and hoping the Google gods put me back at the top of the page.

Up at 0500... no work scheduled for today yet and it’ll rain most of the day. I’m going to take my van in to get the oil changed and tires rotated. If there’s still no work after 0800, I’ll get my haircut on the way home.

Thanks Dan. They will anything for a few hits to website selling a product made in someones basement in God knows where. It's not like Viagara needs advertisement. They made money off of my SEO, a lot I suspect.

I can clone the whole site and drop the content into a new domain name, lotttttta work. No I am Just hoping knowing that Google sees this all the time and they know what a redirect hack looks like and eventually drop it then re-index.

SEO = search engine optimization. It's kinda like 'use you words.' It's all words and formatting and rules. Lots of rules and if you follow them, you win.

Fresh snow is fun, for the dogs anyway. We were about in the back about 9:30 last night. They love to run like wild dogs in the snow, lots of fun. Then they get cold and run to the door.

Got just shy of a foot of snow last night. Waiting for the greater to go down the road and clear us out. Until then I stay up watching the birds eat and waiting for the starlings to come in.
