Are Conversations Allowed On Classifieds?

Looking through the Classifieds I noticed an item on offer that I wanted to query about, but there is no "Reply" or "Quote" buttons, wondering what the etiquette/rules are, tried searching but maybe I did not word the search parameters correctly.
Just seems that it would benefit others who may be considering the item, such as, "How old is it, or will it fit a certain airgun?", etc.
I could see if it were certain sensitive subjects such as offering a price during a negotiation, etc., but otherwise...?

The classifieds are not a discussion area. If you have an inquiry about an ad you have to pm or email the member that made the post.
