Rules for Member Classifieds Gate - Please read before posting

CAVEAT EMPTOR - The GTA accepts no liability for the activities of buying, selling nor trading as may be offered or agreed thereto within the following advertisements.  Any financial, physical or personal agreements made because of the following advertisements shall remain solely between those individuals involved within the agreement and shall not include nor involve the GTA forums nor it's staff or leadership.  All individuals are hereby notified of the exemption of liability for the GTA and all of it's members from the use of the following classifieds and represents no endorsement of individuals, items nor services.

Any ad placed in the Member Classifieds Gate will be removed and placed in the archive if the rules are not followed.  If you have any questions concerning the rules, please P.M. either the moderators or administrators for clarification.

1- YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO POST IN THE MEMBER CLASSIFIEDS GATE!!!!

2- YOU MUST HAVE BEEN A MEMBER 30 DAYS AND HAVE A MINIMUM OF 20 POSTS TO QUALIFY FOR AD PLACEMENT.

3- THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION GATE.  Any discussion, comments or questions must be via email or P.M. (Any reply to an ad causes it to be bumped to the top of the page which gives it an unfair advantage over other ads.  This activity is strongly prohibited!  No “post bumping” will be allowed.)

4- CLASSIFIED ADS ARE LIMITED TO AIRGUN SALES AND THEIR RELATED SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES.  (If you have a question about posting an item, please P.M. a moderator or administrator.  Any non-airgun advertisement will be deleted by the administration.)

5- VENDORS OR HOBBYISTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO POST LINKS TO THEIR WEB SITES NOR ADVERTISE ANY OF THEIR BUSINESS-BASED MERCHANDISE IN THIS GATE.  PLEASE USE THE APPROPRIATE GATES.

6- YOU MUST POST A PRICE AND ACTUAL PICTURE / PICTURES OF WHAT YOU ARE SELLING OR TRADING. NO FACTORY PICTURES WILL BE PERMITTED!
After having added a minimum of one picture of the actual item, you are welcome to add a link to an external account with additional pictures of the item. NO OTHER OUTSIDE LINKS WILL BE PERMITTED!

7- ADS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE FOR 14 DAYS. Any ad over 14 days old will be moved to the Archive Sub-gate where it must remain inactive for 7 days. After 7 days, the ad CAN be re-listed for an additional 14 days. This gives everyone a chance to get their items back to the top of the listing. DO NOT repost an item that is still active, duplicates will be deleted!!!

8- There is a 30 minute edit window for you to adjust your ad. After that, the ad is only editable by the GTA classified moderators. If your ad requires editing or when your item(s) SPF, Sold, Traded, Found or no longer available, PLEASE Report to moderator your thread, to do so just click on the Report to moderator link at the BOTTOM of the post . THE CLASSIFIED MODERATING STAFF WILL EDIT YOUR AD AS REQUESTED or mark it accordingly AND MOVE IT TO THE ARCHIVE GATE when required.

9- If your classified ad has been removed and you don’t know why, please P.M. a moderator or administrator.  Most likely, their response will be that you need to re-read the rules.

10- Our classifieds are for OUR MEMBERS buying, selling and trading HERE on GTA Forums. Ads will not be allowed that link to other web locations where an auction or sale is being conducted. Only items for sale HERE are allowed to be listed in our classifieds. Only list items YOU will be responsible for, no listing for family or friends. If you list it, you are responsible for the transaction.

The GTA wants to create a Member Classifieds Gate where our forum family can buy and sell with safety.  Please, help us keep this gate successful and a positive experience for all our members.  Thank you!

Please read these rules, it will make life so much easier for all of us. LOL
At least 1 photo of the actual item is REQUIRED to appear in any ad. If not, your ad will be moved to the Archive Gate or deleted until you can list it properly!!!

When you need editing or if your item is sold or traded, REPORT your post by selecting Report to moderator and add a note in the report as to what you need done to it.

Although I do not mind at all handling each one personally, please follow the instructions and rules. A report brings it to Norm's attention too since I may be busy and not able to get to your private message request.

Bump ONCE again.....people just don't seem to want to actually read rules before agreeing to them.
