Amen!  I did part of the trigger job in the Airgun Detective video, only the part that involves adjusting the sear screw so that it actually engages, but I did not do the polishing yet.  My trigger now breaks at 1.5 lbs.  I just got my trigger pull gauge after adjusting it, so I do not know exactly what the pull weight was before, but I think it was around 3 to 3.5 lbs.

It will be interesting to see how the new Benjamin Gunner, ie., Hassan Factor, turns out with the same attention given to the craftsman series.  In 45 cal, if it actually gets produced, and unregulated it may be a barn stormer.

#383 is doing well also.
When I received it, it had no pressure on the gauge and I was worried it had a leak.
If it does, it is VERY slow because for me it holds a charge for a weeks.

Matter of fact I think I will shoot it today.

She is going to get a bipod very soon. Something like this....

I use one of those bipods on my Akela and on one of my liberties.  I like them a lot more than any others I have tried.  Wish i could afford the real thing - made in USA but can't.


There is a hack for this bipod on utube, involves a little grease and 2 orings.  Worthwhile.


Love my Akela!    I take it and my PP750 pigeon and starling hunting at a dairy farm permission.  Just got back but was a little too cold and windy.  Da birds wouldn't come out to play!

Yep, the Hack worked very well. I finally broke down an ordered a real American Bipod. But not the version showing here. I ended up with a Accu-Tac G@. Man is it solid!!!

Has any tried to adjust the power from the back end? I chronied mine yesterday with 18.1 grain JSB's in 22cal and they were shooting a pretty consistent 895fps. I will put up a shot string from 3000 psi tonight. I saw the video where his 22cal was shooting 930fps for what it looked like 47 shots. I bet mine will do 55-60 at the power it's at. I would really like to see what a shot string looks like on the 25cal.

I have been told by Kral owners  that there is not much adjustment there.  25 caliber Kratos shooter on AGN was getting on the low 20’s at just under 50 FPE?  In that thread the 25 Kratos owner resprung it with a slightly less powered spring to get around 880 for more shots.

I wish I could do a string for you but Mine is shooting between 45 and 48 with 27 grains and I need to be outside to do it and that is not happening anytime soon.

I do have a minor problem with mine, last fill showed about 2400 psi on the rifle, when I filled it , I was down to around 1650 psi.

Hi everyone ,I need help.  I have not shot my Kratos in about 3 or 4 weeks, and went out to day and I cant
Get the magazine to go in the gun.  Any help with this would be appreciated.  I dont under stand what went wrong.   The mag just wont fit.  I put oil on it to help it, but it wont go in the gun.  It is as if the mag is to fat.

Your barrel band concern is the same one I have for my Akela, so will be watching to see how you fare.

My Akela is shooting 18 gn pellets up to 960+ fps on Max power, so 14.3 gn CPHP might hit 1000 fps. I will try that tomorrow.

That is PERFECT for my needs!!!!
23g NOE Magnum Hunters may be in the sweet spot.
14.3 should break 1000 easily!

My Cayden gets 1014 FPS with the 14gr CPH.. Also, the 23gr hits 835 FPS (I'm shooting H&N .218) & is just deadly accurate out to 60 yrds & probably further! just haven't tested past that yet.

Is it possible you have forgotten that these mags slide in from the right round end first?  I sometimes do when I have been shooting other guns heavily, since these are kinda backward to most other breaches/mags.

That bit me once. Had to look at the indexing groove on the mag and the breech to remember!
