What classic did you shoot today

Repaired a Benjamin Franklin Tootsie roll yesterday. Shooting pretty hard on six pumps. Wondering if that is the limit or can they take more?

8 pumps is the recommended standard. If it dumps all the air at 8...try 10 pumps and see what happens. . 5 or 6 pumps is usually good enough for most target shooting. dave

Thank you Dave. I remade the stem seal in such a way for minimum sealing diameter and a lighter valve spring. It will dump 10 for sure but I think that is too much for the linkage.
I’ll stick to six as it is perky enuff 😊

I was shooting my '58 Sears Hahn Repeater which now has a Mac-1 modified exhaust valve. And while I was at it decided to break out my Thompson Full-Auto Blowback.  Amazing how the technology has advanced over the years....especially with BB Guns. The Thomson is on par with many of my pellet guns for grouping...almost! BTW, the Thompson has a cyclic rate of 1200
rounds per minute. A 1 sec 20 round burst delivers over 30 FPE. More than enough for "Home Protection!...... If you know what I mean! dave

My Crosman 3100 made in Spain by Cometa. It has an old skinny Weaver scope. Loved Norma and RWS R-10 wadcutters.

US vs England!  This Crosman Sears 180 is just a great rifle. I actually like the single cartridge cause I really don’t have long shooting sessions.  Very accurate once you adjust to those open sights.  Just a looker as well. 1960 was a good year, I don’t think they made a nicer looking 180?

Yesterday my buddy came over and we did some shooting.
I shot ol' blue, the slavia 618, and my '81 Benjamin 342.
I don't shoot the 342 enough and he needed a good solid .22 pumper so I gave it to him.

I ordered a 273 peep for it to replace the homemade thing I had on it, and he'll be taking the gun home when it  arrives and I get it all set up.
Hopefully by then I'll also have my '67 312 resealed and we can compare the two.

Such a fun little plinker, really the only kind of Springer for me aside from daisy bb guns.

1932 Daisy 25 long stroke bb gun. And Daisy No. 102 Model 36 with a nickel finish. They were manufactured between 1941 & 1942, then again between 1945 & 1947.  This is a 1945 model

The E series is one that I like a lot too. I have so many airguns that are well favored, that it is hard for me to single one out as a "favorite".

Saw the Pic of that E-20, Nice One! Thought I'd Post a Pic of my 1957 Benjamin 267 I chronographed yesterday. I'll call this one the" Grandfather" of the E-20. I did eliminate that little 8.5 gr.
Soda cart with a Ninja Fill check Nipple. BTW, gun shoots an ave. of 451 fps. with 7.9 gr.pellets. Good enough! dave
