My FX Impact X MKII with the .25/700mm barrel finally came in. took quite a few weeks, but its here! shooting absolute round bug holes at 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards. Tony at talon tunes, did an absolute great job on it. he lapped the barrel, polished and tuned it. set it to shoot the 25.4 JSB kings at 925 fps. and it shoots! the scope i picked is the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP. Not 100% sure if I like this scope for it, i think a 4-12 might be more my style. the gun stacks pellets. its insane. if you are at all debating getting one of these rifles, i vote yes. absolutly get it.

FX gun ! if I ever decide to pay the Swedish tax {and I am Swedish } I would buy that same gun you did for sure … just buy the top dog, and get it over with LOL ! … Yong Heng wise just make sure you run a HIGH pressure compressor oil , DIESTER based Nuvair chemelube 751 I would recommend - so that second stage does not burn oil ,even with royal purple we have seen it burn in the second stage … but Have fun with the FX impact you did right on that 1 for sure ….

Mike = The smart ones do their research , Paul is one that pays attention to details as you are, and I am , and before I bought oil we did some research , and you pointed out the fact most of the oils guys were recommending were not rated for high pressure compressors , so digging in deep we figured out why you need to run Diester synthetics to get the right protection for the application … ..

Compressor oils are without detergents typically. I'm not saying it's not a good lube, but can't ignore those details either.
Congrats on the new rifle sir. No disappointments with mine. Enjoy!Guys, let's not dirty up the OP's post with an oil debate. There's already a lengthy one started for that.
I am with Dan on the available power. I see the posted specs (25 cal. for me), but would like to know what can it do above that. I have held off on an FX due to low power specs for a long time. I know the new power plenum alone changes things for the better in the power department, and now has me back interested in one once I know more about what they can do now.

The bigger plenum is a game changer.
