True scuba compressor 3 stage with water seperator and rebuildable under $1500

IF it has 100% duty cycle AND in stock at the time of order . I want to fill a 444 cu/ft steel breathing air bottle and keep it at 310 BAR to use as a fill station for my portable bottles. Poor AV Compressor is just NOT up to the task!

Not really... I have way too much invested in this hobby as it is considering I got started with a visit to Walmart and spotted a Daisy 880 and decided it might be fun to relive some boyhood adventures.

I would say that if I was looking to buy now and this was an option (and that it included an air drier at that price, not just a water separator - I am unclear on that from your description), it would be high on my list to consider. To me it would be OK if it was made in China (most likely place) as long it is a good robust design and is well built, with good parts availability.

But as of now I am very happy with my Shoebox Max set up, and in the extremely unlikely event that it ever truly died I would most likely simply replace it with an F10 at less cost than I paid for my Max.  So don't count me as a potential sale . . . but I could have been if this was an option when I was buying.

2.  Filtration to create No. 1.
3.  Highly durable components that allow rebuilding - AFTER a reasonable run-time.
4.  Serious QC.

True breathing compressor no COD or pre-order and 100% duty cycle. Im in contact with vendor but not sure how many units are available yet so im looking at if people are even interested. Its self contained no water buckets etc and air cooled and not junk this is the real deal.

In China of course you wont get a price like that anywhere else, two year warranty and parts are not a issue this company builds compressors for big name scuba companys. Ive been following leads to get to them and finally got my foot in the door.

It’s something I would consider, I would like to see a smaller version built mainly to fill guns directly or smaller tanks. Basically a mini Alkan or Bauer type with a slower fill rate so it doesn’t build heat as bad and reliable.

I have been in the scuba compressor business since 1981 and not only the big name companies but  NOBODY sells Chinese made compressors.

I would be interested. Need something to fill tanks and don't have time to wait on a shoebox. Been searching the used market for a good used Bauer or Coltri. Found some deals on 3300 PSI compressors, but 4500 PSI are all pricey even used.

They seem to be in stock, so I expect the statement was a reference to the slow and steady fill rate of the Shoebox . . . .

That is something that I never have understood being an issue for pretty much everyone except high pressure big bore shooters (they of course need a lot of air at high pressure fast and often).  For the rest of us, the Shoebox really is a true "set it and forget it" compressor that just does its thing.

Sure it might take an hour or two to "top off" a big tank, but most of us aren't shooting 24/7.  Ever watch any sports or movies on TV, or cook and eat with your family?  Those are great times to run the Shoebox.  While I would not run it if I were leaving my house, I have no issues running it any other time while doing pretty much anything at home, including when others are asleep as they are vary quiet too (not the originals of course).

And as far as the need for a shop compressor, I for one would never be without one - it is one of my most used tools, and sits charged and ready to provide air at any time.  I have had one for almost 30 years, and will always have one as long as I am not in a retirement home
