True scuba compressor 3 stage with water seperator and rebuildable under $1500

I think I would take as many of the cheap Chinese compressors that the money would buy as opposed to the one high dollar compressor. As each one fails it would provide parts for the next depending on the type and extent of the failure.

But then again the US Military does use the Chinese DAVV or Davey. 

The Davey was a reputable brand in it's day.  However, they went out of business and the Chinese "Adapted" the name and started making claims about military use.  The main brands the military uses are Coltri and Bauer.

Thank you for clearing that up Ray. Sound more correct than the mixed info I have been able to dig up. Wish I had jumped on one of the old Kiddy's when the Army was selling them here at FT. Hood. didn't have a pcp back then. GRRRR!!


Perhaps I should hook up an old Texas Wind mill to a pump. LOL!
