Is there a way to stop getting notifications in my show new replies to your posts? I do not have emails turned on that is not the issue.

At the top of the thread, click unnotify

Unfortunately, there is not a way to actually unsubscribe from a thread.

I have tried that I get a message that seas to enable notifications then when I click it it seas to disable notifications and the thread I want to drop keeps popping up.

As far as the "show new replies"... i try not to post in threads i know il never visit again because of that... using the actual "subscribe" option on the forum will cause you to get an email every single reply...

I am the same. Oftentimes, even when I want to post in a thread, I won't, because I know that I will still be getting it pop up on my list of subscribed threads long after I stop posting in it.
You CAN stop email notifications....you just cannot actually unsubscribe from any thread.

It would be nice to be able to do that as there a few I dont care to even have pop up. I have come to terms that I click on the new post button or the last post button...

It WOULD be nice, but apparently, at least from my understanding, the software doesn't allow for it.

Could the software be tricked? As in; if a mod could remove a members posts in that thread, and therefore tricking the software into unsubscribing the member to that thread?

But that would leave holes in the thread, so I'd pretty much guarantee that that isn't going to happen. LOL
