AR6 gives you that quick second (or third or fourth) shot when hunting. The double action is quite worthless as far as accuracy is concerned so by quick shot I mean cocking the hammer with your thumb. It likes long and heavy pellets and the trigger likes some polishing. Other than that it's a great gun.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Dave does indeed have an AR6 in the shop,, he's got a lot of stuff in there.
I've never fired the AR6 but I did get in some trigger time with a Blizzard and I must say it was a nice rifle with good power. I still love my condor though

Who says you can't have wood on your Condor or Talon? Like it's been said, the parts aftermarket for Air Force guns is huge. You can really drastically change their look.
Here are the grips on my Condors. 1st is one of my .25 Condors. Even the bottle is wrapped around in laminated oak wood, and the shoulder pad is 2-way adjustable. The 2nd one is not my gun but I have those exact grips on my .22 that I bought from the owner of the Condor depicted. The forearm in this one is wider than most traditional rifles and gives you a very solid feel and comfortable grip.

Wow that's a lot of guns you are selling. But then again 4500 tanks are not cheap. I think I could use another 4500 tank too. Can never have too many
I did not get your PM but no worries. I also love my tuned 350 .22 with Vortek internals, buttoned piston and 1.6lb trigger. It's been transformed into a very accurate, smooth shooting Springer.

harry i wound up selling the 350 pro compact lol got 325 for it and it went toward my new TALON. lol no condor yet. i figure if i need the extra power ill get the 24' barrel. as of now i got the 18" and had cobra airguns make me their venom shroud which looks great and is supposed to be quieter than the talon ss. shall report next week when i pick it up.
how hard is it to pump up a talon with a hand pump?
thanx

Congrats Jeremy on the new Talon. I have a .22 Talon w/18 inch barrel and it's a hammer, you'll love it
As for hand pumping,, the first fill, from 0 to 3000, is the killer but I'm sure Dave will fill it to 3000 for you when you pick it up so you won't have to deal with the first fill. You'll just be "topping off" after a shooting session and it's not bad to do at all. Before I got my shoebox compressor and 4500 psi tank I used a hand pump to top off my talon and condor and it really wasn't bad at all.

Congrats on your new Talon .22 purchase Jeremy! A shroud is a must for a PCP. You will be glad you got one. Don't forget to post pics of your "venomous" Talon!
I am also sure Jeff can tell you which pellets it is most accurate with so you know what pellets you need to get and not bother with others.. My guess would be the JSB heavy 18.1gr is one of them. My Condor .22 loves those pellets as well as the 21.1 Kodiaks. The barrels are the same on both guns..
I have never used a pump, but I have read you get a good workout using one
Wow, you did good with the sale of your 350! I wouldn't sell all the Springers. It's a good idea to have at least 1 or 2 guns that require no external power source

My Talon likes a variety of pellets. 18.2 gr JSB's, kodiaks, 14.3 gr JSB's, 15 gr JSB's, FTS, CPL's, CPHP's, Predators, just to name a few. Mine isn't pellet picky at all.
That being said I mostly use the 18 gr JSB's and Kodiaks for my small game hunting.

Exactly what I guessed
Most Lothar Walther barrels are usually not finicky at all, especially at "manageable" velocities, or in the power band of the 18" Talon.

Harry,Jeff,
thanx im psyched cant wait for it to come it, to top it off i ordered a Condor too lolol i couldnt decide between all the option and power and calibers so i got the talon in .22 and the condor in .25 lol. now just waiting for them to come in. i also ordered 1200 kodiaks and 1000 jsb jumbo heavies so ill be good to go. now i just have to go pick up a scuba tank and im all set. yes jeff you are right dave luckily will be giving me my first fill on the house lol should save me alottttt of pumping.
Jeff could i ask you where did you get-and how much was your shoebox compressor? i'd like to get a scuba tank and a compressor so im completely self sufficient.
THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE INPUT!!
i feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to open my presents lolol!

Wow, you jumped right into it head first
Good for you! Now you have as many Air Force guns as Jeff
But you don't have the 60 other guns he has
Actually Jeff doesn't own a .25! hehehe. I see a .25 Condor in Jeff's future
Don't forget the .25 JSB Kings and some .25 Predators! Both of these are very accurate on most Condor .25's. Condor .22 usually likes the 28.4gr Eun Jins too, but shoot what you got, and then decide

Jeremy,,, congrats buddy, a Talon and a Condor.... and a .25 cal condor at that.... just doesn't get any better than that !!
I got my shoebox from Toms shoebox site....here's the link....
http://www.shoeboxcompressor.com/
Harry, you are correct,, at the current time I do not have a .25 cal in my collection..... However..... that will be changing very soon
and as for those 60 other guns........ that number is a tad bit low
