Jose, you have to look at it in the light of reality. Sure, the cost of a compressor does seem a big investment. It very well may be if you look at in terms of filling one gun. But realistically, that's a myth. Nobody has just one gun... some have their first gun but, it won't be long until they have a house full.
Now, if you divide the cost of a compressor by the number of guns you WILL have... well, then it becomes quite affordable. So you see, the trick to increasing the value of a compressor is to buy more guns.
Starting to make sense?

The first PCP that I bought was a Benjamin Discovery which is very easy to hand pump, I bought the pump/gun combo and the pump that came with it was junk IMO.  I bought one of the Chinese ones and it's been working good ever since.  It resides behind the seat of my truck for the guns that are easy to fill however for the ones with the bigger airtubes and higher pressure fills I decided to get tanks which back then could be had at a very reasonable price on ebay, eventually the dive shop that filled my tanks closed down so I ended up buying me a oilless compressor and F10 shoebox which are both fantastic and get the job done.  If you go head over heels into PCP you're going to eventually want something that makes filling them faster and easier.  I can't imagine tuning a gun with a big air tube without being able to fill from a tank, I'd spend too much time pumping my butt off.

Exactly my story with aspen and gauntlet but now with raptor and barrel kits in the works I am evolving into shooting not pumping and then shooting

Thanks for the link, we'll see what happens I guess. I should have it Monday or Tuesday. I got lucky and one came in with a delivery 30 minutes after I made the order.

One thing nice about me and Joe is that we live 6 miles or so apart, hehe!
