I know Duy will be working on a Liberty 25 cal conversion soon. I'm sure he will post some info. My bet his will be more high-powered and slinging slugs. Mine will be more for JSB 25 and 34g pellets. When I do start it, will have a GTA thread going, and usually I detail it enough such that other DIYer's can follow. ie like my Fortitude 25 cal conversion.

I think getting a fully operational and accurate parts gun, is a thing of the past. Given some issue, leaks have a high likelihood to be able to repair at low cost, vs say a bad barrel. Jmho

I think if you get a parts gun you most likely will need to do a poppet fix or maybe some type of "O" ring fix.The last two wood Liberties I received are beautiful guns and looked like new, but leak more then my bladder ;- )wll

Will, a very generous offer to GTA members! FWIW: The C-clip is rather unique, and not standard fare to be found at McMasterCarr. I ended up using a split lock washer, cutting and crushing, for my 2nd poppet that was missing the c-clip. I located an E-clip that might work, but it is significantly thinner at 0.5mm. It would take at least three of them to fill the slot. https://www.mcmaster.com/98317a204 It indicates that it is for a 1.9mm groove and I measured 2mm with my HF calipers. It might be tight.
Well the lathe is on its way back to me ... extra tools have been ordered and come in this Friday along with the Delrin rod .... by Monday at the latest I should be making parts ;- )wll
If I buy one more parts gun I would appreciate it if a group of you guys would come over to my house and beat some sense into me ;- )wll
