It is not.  It is designed for the included iron sights, just like the plastic version.  Making a higher fixed or adjustable cheek riser, was one of my early recommendations for NV.  99% of owners are going to put a scope on it.

Warren, just a coping saw, drill press, wood dowels, sandpaper and stain... Check out Steve's videos (thebanker4) , as he does a build and shows him cutting a cheek piece.. I used wood dowels instead of the usual adjustable hardware, since I am the only one shooting it.. I just made it so when I shoulder it I am looking straight thru the scope..

Same here... I'm going to go back over my whole collection after the stubby .177 is done and WSMR.22 is tuned and tested. See what I can refine or let go.

I just hope I'm not the first  LOL, LOL, LOL ...  tomorrow the wooden ship arrives ... We will see if she works, needs an "O" ring overall, or is missing a air chamber (like the first "Parts" Freedom that was missing complete pumping arm, the pumping chamber and other assorted "Parts", making it a "No-Parts Gun" -- ATI did make good send me a "Parts" gun that had parts, and yes i did have to take it completely apart and install new "O" rings so It would work)

This gun is a little simpler and am assuming it will have no pellet block, not magazines, fill adapter  and maybe no sights. I will try to see if I can get her shooting, if not the parts will be bagged up and used if needed.

Looking forward to tomorrow. ------- and yes I will post  what arrives, good or bad ;-  )

Well the gun arrived and to say I was extremely pleasantly surprised would be a GROSS understatement ;- )

This thing is just beautiful, not a mark on it and it came with all the accessories. I might add it looks like the iron sight was never even taken off for a scope!

 The gun is on empty, so it may have a leaky "O" ring ... but I will see if it holds air later when I get home.

I simply had a blast shooting mine this morning, I got carried away with plinking in the woods with it so the critters kinda left the scene.  I had to sight in the scope I put on it that I robbed from my Freedom but actually the scope was originally on the Liberty



Over 60 shots at 29-30fpe, what a nice gun it is.  I think I'll take it back out in the morning for some quiet hunting instead of plinking, it's ready for a red squirrel no doubt. . . very accurate.  I might eve shoot some of Stephens slugs in it again tomorrow.
