I don't want to have to pay to ship the rifle back to Pyramid air. "dang" I wish I had bought the freedom instead. As you know Freedom and Aspen are the same gun but marked by different companies. It was not hard, but it was a learning curve for sure ... start out with a BIG table and places to put your parts, you will have Parts all over for sure. You WILL need the correct metric allen keys, metric wrenches and a pin wrench. There are a couple guys that have downloaded PDF pics ... very helpful and take picks as you go.If it is your check valve and you know it is that, you may just be able to remove that section and install a new O ring. I ordered a few of these O rings that I think are the correct size and they should be coming in from China in about 2 or 3 weeks ... If you need one let me know and I will send it to you.SIDE BAR: Before you do anything, degas your gun and check to be sure the air degassing screw on the bottom is fully tight .. if that is loose at all you will leak air !wllYeah, I just cranked it down to make sure before going any further and will check it in the morning. Hope that's what it is.

I have had my Aspen since March so I know that part. When I received my rifle I went over it to make sure that everything was tight.
Yep, the few drops of silicone oil in the fill port and hit it with my compressor did the trick.
I have posted on the tail end of the airgunnation stuck halfway through an expanded PDF parts and pieces for a Nova Freedom. I also included a digital manual for those of us that don't have one. Hopefully these will be helpful. GTA would not allow me to post external links.
KerrySix of each type of #006 rings (Viton & Urathane) are on the way. As far as leaks go, there are several different places people report leaks, but not too hard to chase down. Most are at the breech end of the air reservoir where it enters the bloclk. Sometimes a knick in the factory ring installing it. Sometimes on the brass insert at the end of the air reservoir on the otherside where is slides into the reservoir tube itself. I'll try to PM you some pics of the take down and mark these for you to order some back ups. Shoot me your cell number if you want & I'll try to help. I'll put my cell number with the rings that I send. Pump rings are THE most common problem, and not hard to replace, just takes a little patience the first time through. Good luck Mike.
