My female dashuhound and I saved a bird tonight. She started barking at something in my wife's flower garden. I'm thinking we caught a mouse in the mouse trap so I walked over and got a big surprise. Instead of catching a mouse there was a really pretty bird with it's beak cought in the trap. I quickly released the trap and next thing I know the bird has it's claws gripping my index finger. I lifted the bird up and tried to get it to sit on the fence but it wasn't having anything to do with that. It just sat there on my finger like a house hold pet bird would. So I started to pet it's back and that's when it finally figured out this isn't the place to be for a wild thing. I'm just glad gippse noticed the bird so I could save it.
I pressure washed some of the outdoor furniture
Did some more house clearing and donating stuff. When I arrived at the house my brother, and two nephews were already there. I notice the sheds were already opened up and thought they opened them. Nope then I spotted one of the padlocks, it was cut off and the other pad lock is gone too! The only thing of any value in either shed was my Leaf Blower/Vac and it was still there with some odd junk. So nothing was taken. I realize it was probably a test run and they will probably be back. If they break in to the house they will be disappointed and find nothing of value to steal there now either because my nephew took all his tools home when he quit for the day today. I told the neighbors about it too so they might see something and call 911 if the thieves/trespassers come back.
It's just like the guy who doesn't want to do certain things and he messes it up so bad the wife tells him never do that again.😁
Mowed the lawn today and my wife tried out for mower on one area. Never again. I had perfect rows a hundred yards long going and somehow she rig-zagged all over. There were a bunch on mohawks between rows and I had to go back over most of it.
