Turns out, I can't go to the funeral, they aren't bringing him "home".. 3-1/2 our drive away.. 7 hour round trip on a work day. 
 I will be here, having our favorite pizza that we would order from a carry out place that is still in business and eat it in the parking-lot in my '65 Mustang.... and trying to find his favorite Canook beer to chase it down with... We had MANY in the late '70's / early '80's

Went out with my peeps on a little nature walk.  Had snacks on the lookout and stopped at The ‘Bucks on the drive home for some cool sweet drinks.

Home now and chilling with the lovely warm spring temps.  Supposed to be tornadoes and giant hail here tonight?  😬 That’s what they are saying anyway.  I certainly hope not but anything is possible.  That IS NOT the norm for here at any time of the year.

Never been to the northwest. My oldest daughter lives in Washington State but she has only been there 4 years so I haven't had the chance to go visit. Might be flying up there this summer.

If you do get up here during the summer it would be worth it to get up to Mt. Rainier on the Paradise side.  Sunrise is nice but I really prefer the Paradise side much more.  You don’t have to hike it if you don’t want/can't.  Plenty of spots to pull over and admire along the way.  It can get pretty crowded up there at times so be prepared for that and plan accordingly. 

Depending on location and timing we might could get the airgun range set up and we could throw some lead.  🎯💥🔫

A must experience drive is Rt 410 over Chinook Pass from Enumclaw to Naches.
First time over I topped it and look down from above the tree line onto the other side. The fog was a blanket with the tops of the trees poking through. I just had to stop and look at it for several minutes.
Rainer looked like a massive snow cone that I could just reach out and touch.
One of the most memorable sights I have ever seen in my life.

Took the memsahib to see the quacks.  They took blood and talked a lot of squat because they have no clue what is wrong with her.  Her last GP was obsessed with thyroid.  The one before that with weight.  The new one seems to be a bit of a crank too.  Her thing is apparently drug reactions.

We stopped and had lunch at one of the ubiquitous ptomaine trucks that are filling every vacant lot in this country these days.  It was called “Two dads and a truck”.  Hopefully they will pack it in before they lose their shirts.  Nice guys, mediocre food, $$prices.  They ain’t gonna last.

So far I’ve applied grout sealer and I’m working on a threashold/transition for the doorway into the laundry.  The piece of oak I have bowed on me some and I’m making the profile on the table saw.  I applied some water to the cupped side hoping to get it to straighten up so I can continue to make it where I feel safe about it.

Scott did you post a pic of the stang awhile back? Seems like you did but my memory is fuzzy. Saw one restomodded yesterday and it looked good. Bronze with black wheels. Had a 347 under the hood that sounded nice.

Left the East Hill in '96 and it was heading down then. Lived in the SeaTac and Renton areas also. I think Dairyboy is up in that area.
