 Sat in a blind from no see to no see, saw Doe, Fawn, possum, turkeys and a woodpecker, also way too many squirrels.

Worked last night.  Slept at work.  Worked a double today.  It’s now a 4 day weekend for me.  I’ll be working on the bathroom/laundry room… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Spent most of Saturday working on a small outboard motor, that turned into a small project to some extent especially when there is no internet service where the repair to place was. So we loaded it into my truck, carried home and in 5 minutes it is was fixed. Now I have to go back today and get the rest of the service done. Hopefully the rest will go smoothly.

I put up clean dishes to make room for more dirty ones and ran that load then aired up the portable tank to inflate my deflated mower tire since it would've come off the bead if I tried to drive it to the garage to air up. Well clearly after all that hard work I need a week off.

I never get to play anymore either.  Maybe I’ll call it dry today and not do any work on the project and I’ll shoot an AG or two.  Maybe I can continue to tidy up the checkering on the 77 Tyro stock.

I wrapped up getting power to my shop, a 20 wide by 30' deep garage with lean-to on the side.  70 feet of 24" trenching- what started as 20" got a little deeper since I decided if my FiL decides he wants to build his own garage/shop, we have the preliminary work started 60 feet of 2" conduit for him with a stub, and my own 70 foot run.  I went with overkill for grounding rods- 2 8 footers.  I now have 125 amp service to the shop, though only 2 outlets run thus far- a GFCI right off the box and a 20 amp receptacle over the workbench.  I still have a lot of wiring work to do, but it is getting there bit by bit.

I'm hoping to squeeze in some airgunning time over the next week; I have 2 MSPs that need some work (my 2100 and 760 both have blow-by and don't build pressure), and my Hatsan 95 needs the piston recharged.

I had a great Sunday. I survived the time change, I didn't get an extra hour of sleep, I guess I was lied to about that. LOL

 I got up at 3:28 this morning. I was getting tired but eating lunch woke me up so like usual I didn't take a nap.
 I need to go see what I can eat now before it gets too late for me to eat.

Like I said in a previous post elsewhere, I don't matter what the clock says, my body tells me when it's time to get up and go to bed. This morning the internal alarm when off at 3:30. I laid there for 30 minutes trying to go back to sleep but it wasn't happening. Rather than tossing, turning and waking Betty Lou up I just got up. I pit the coffee on and Boss rolled out shortly after. She ate and went outside to stroll the perimeter barking at the World. She starts the chain reaction Nick's dogs at the barn and Patrick's dogs on the next property to the North.
I'm hoping for some airgun time today if Betty Lou don't go into paint mode.

I see the security cams are beginning to change to daylight view so I think I'll head to the shower and get this day started.
I'll get the Castin' Shack fired up. While that's coming up to temps for pouring pellets I might go to the Red Shed and get the chrono set up.. I owe a string from the Avenger to that thread.  I been slacking on it.

I was at the witch doctor's office first thing this a.m.  First the doctor's minions extracted $40 from my wallet.  Then they stuck me in a walk in freezer for an hour.  A perky teenaged girl came in and started asking questions.  She asked me if the injury had occurred at home or at work.  I told her it was hard to say but most likely at work because that's where I WORK.  I don't lift a finger around the shack.  She told me that they could not treat me because it might constitute insurance fraud.  Oh heavens!  Who ever heard of a doctor committing insurance fraud?  Told me I had to go through Worker's Compensation.  "OH!" says I  "You want to do this the hard way?  I got nuthin but time sister!  I'll go through Worker's Comp and you're gonna have to work twice as hard for your money."  From the look on her face she knew I was right. 

Then I went and made them give me the forty bucks back.

And so it begins.  Needles and pins.

Took my mother's car to the dealer and got a new loaner 4x4 F150 crew cab jacked up where ride height is near as high as a semi without running boards so I got her wooden stool out of her home and tied a rope to it so she could get in and out of the truck ok then pull the box up. Was all they had to loan out. Not used to riding that high at all or having to pull myself up into a truck and she's not either so it takes getting used to. Barely fits in the garage. For a heavy truck it's surprisingly quick. Has a big backup camera screen so she'll be fine.

I went out in the woods when I got back from the snake oil merchant's and shot stuff with big airguns until I didn't hate the whole medical profession.  Then I started working the phones.  This ain't my first rodeo.  I started a claim with Worker's Compensation and lo and behold a nurse called me back promptly and we straightened out the details.  An adjuster will call me in the next few days and either approve or disapprove my claim.  If they approve it I get on the "hurry up and wait" train.  If they decline it the quacks will have to send it to my insurance company and I'll probably be scheduled for surgery in a couple of weeks.

Well I need to get the 2240 running right anyway.

I gritted my teeth and updated the OS on my Mac laptop. It took two failed attempts and more than 2 hrs to finish. This was an incremental update, not a big jump in version.

It was my last resort at fixing the Air Drop problem of the Mac not "seeing" my newer iPad even though it used to do so. I suspected that a recent update on the newer iPad caused the failure. Which indeed it had. Air Drop now works between the Mac and both the old and newer iPad.

Meanwhile, both the Mac and the iPad got still-newer OS versions only in the last few days! I will not update either device any more, as long as I can avoid it. Updates used to fix bugs without causing new ones.

I've been getting ready for hunting season.
I've been visiting my sister in lower Alabama on multiple occasions as she was diagnosed early in October with Rectal cancer.
I have been shooting a couple of my CO2 BB pistols.
I've been adding LED lights to my Polaris Ranger and this past weekend my son ask me to put LED lights on his Ranger.
