Not the sort of camping I do or more accurately used to do. Usually a pup tent and a kayak on a remote beach.

Took my little river boat up the Waikawa yesterday. This time it had a Mercury 3.3 hp outboard. Definitely faster and some may say it was up on the plane. Still good sized wake behind. The Merc had a shaft 3 inches longer than the little Yamaha   . Too long so not operating efficiently. Then it broke down and I had a long row back to the ramp.
 I thoroughly enjoyed the row.  Little boat is so easy to use. Just a joy.

My neck's been bothering me for a couple months but on this trip it got really bad I can't tip my head back can't tip it from side to side or turn it hardly at all without excruciating pain. 

  We head out of the campground in the morning and I'll be having a granddaughter's husband drive my truck back to my daughter's house in Idaho hopefully my neck gets better soon. Because of my neck we got a cabin.

Drove back to NH from west NY near Rochester.   Was nice to visit friends, rural upstate NY is pretty but I'll take NH any time.   We ate real well.

Hauled the 1000 gallons of water. Then after the wind had mostly died down burned all of the weeds in the gravel we have out front.

We are considering another remodel of sorts.
We're thinking about letting go of the bar room we made out of the screened in porch that we closed in. We're thinking of finishing the interior off and turning it into a master bedroom. There is a 6 x 10 nook that will be made into a walk in closet. The master bedroom will also have a seating area/lounge. It's just Betty Lou and I and we do not entertain guests often.
Our existing big bedroom will become the single bed spare room... when one of us are sick or restless we use this room so the other can sleep.
The small spare room will become an office type computer room. 2 computers will share a router and printer.
These are plans we are considering and we'll discus it further.

I need to replace the mower starter because I accidentally hooked up the new mower battery in reverse when I was physically hurting and not thinking well which also blew a fuse that I replaced. I have the battery connected correctly now but the mower still won't start where I have to use a screw driver contacting hot and neutral together on the starter to get the engine running. Amazing the stupid things one can do when hurting as that was such a simple thing to avoid. That's why I don't get mad at mechanics when something wasn't done right because I know they were likely in pain.

I reckon we've decided to keep our "hole in the wall" bar and give our bedroom an upgrade. We can stretch the money farther by not dumping it all in one room. This way we can do some upgrades to the utility room as well.

A simple solution is to get another wireless router ( I use D-Link 835 ) and upgrade it to WW-DRT firmware and use it as a Wireless Bridge.
You can plug 4 items into it to wirelessly talk back to main router.
Do not need each item to be wireless.

Well I was planning on doing some shooting today until I remembered that I locked them all up while we were on a little road trip.   I just didn't feel like opening up safes and shuffling guns around.   I ended up spending the afternoon pruning, cutting brush and hauling the clippings away.   I'm way to tired to shoot now.

Actually, I spend a lot of my time cutting brush too. You may have heard about wildfires in California. I am getting the brush farther and farther from the house. They say that the firefighters will protect the well cleared house first.

That would be a lot of shooting up into the air.   I'm grateful that forest fires that threaten buildings are pretty unusual in NH.   The forest around my house has grown a lot in the last 36 years and I want to get more sun in.

Guilty! At times when they're too high to cut with a saw a shotgun is mighty handy. Mowed, blowed and wacked a lot of weeds and the ant beds in them too. Civilizations were eliminated.
