Wife is coming home early today. She was suppose to come home Sunday but the customer decided to come home early. Busy cleaning house ☹️!
Said goodbye to the best friend I've ever had.
Quote from: avator on September 10, 2024, 07:15:00 PMSaid goodbye to the best friend I've ever had.Haven't seen your thread yet but I'm guessing it's Rambo. Sure hate to hear that. Been there many times and even though that was decades ago I still miss them daily and can't wait to be reunited with them again. Glad to hear your chef is coming back soon.
Well I just got the bill for the keytruda infusion. $31k+!!! That's JUST for the meds!!
The same electrical breaker is flipping itself off at least once a day now. The three outlets that I know are connected to it have very low-load devices, which aren’t even on or plugged in most of the time. We’ve had some thunderstorms in the last several weeks, but the triggering is not obviously tied to those.I had just been flipping it back on, but a short while ago, several other outlets had no power. The breaker for those was not flipped off. They’re back in action now after a test and reset, but I think it’s time to call an electrician. The system is only 6.5 yrs old. The only high-draw device is on its own circuit and, so far—knock on wood—has not lost power.Could the breakers be worn out after such a short life? Winter is when I would’ve expected more trouble, with higher electrical loads.
I am a lineman for a local electrical utility. I go to residences 2-3 times a week for lighting troubles that end up being a customers breaker failing. Even new installations within a couple years old go bad fairly often. It’s a simple fix to replace a breaker if you are handy. If you are uncomfortable or unsure, pay an electrician. LOL... yeah, and alot of those old shacks burned down too.
I started building a closet for the hot water heater. I’m moving it out of the utility room to make more room and to beautify it once I get started on the inside remodel. I’ve procrastinated too long!
I drove to Glacier National Park and set up camp. It is raining now but we are cozy in bed and it is not too cold.
