Wild land firefighters like to toss a can of soup on the manifold of the engine. Bill a trail camera cinch strap would work to seal the tire too if you didn't have a strap tie handy. A rubber tie down will work too if you have one the right size which thankfully I did once.

My front caster started squealing so I got the grease gun but it was empty so after replacing the cartridge I got rid of that loud noise and the mower rides good again. No rain for awhile now so real dusty mowing. Been trying to sort out a trail cam that stopped working right. I get it working then it shuts down again twice now. Ready to buy a new one and toss the old one in the air then blast it to bits with the shotgun.

Lots of tie downs and ratchet straps around here for strapping mowers and atvs to the trailers. I actually have one designated for tires.

I had a quiet day in the ranger station for once.  The teenagers have gone back to school and there is considerably less drama.

 Rainy day at the work, I put new tires and rims on the bosses golf cart, adjusted the brakes on 2 others. Fixed a flat on a skid loader tire, mess around with an ancient electric forklift, got life back into it, but time for new batteries. Also tied up loose ends on numerous other task

Took the eXmark down to the barn and walked back. That opened the space in the outdoor shooting deck area back up. I put the plastic 4 way pallets back in place as the foundation and used the 3/4 plywood left over from the daybed removal to sheet it. That gave us an 8x6 1/2 solid floor to set up and shoot from. I set the folding shooting table back on it and we're back up and running... just waiting for the cooler weather to begin.
Cooling back off now and pondering my next move.

Parts of the shop floor are gravel. I have the 2 sides of the daybed left over. These are framed with 2x4 and sided with 5/4 deck boards. They measure 2 1/2' x 4' each. If I rake the gravel out at my L shaped workbench I can use them for a solid floor in the area circle in red. That area is exactly the same size.

That will leave me the front section of the daybed that is 2 1/2 x 6+ ' for a platform in front of the workbench on the other side of the shop.
The gravel is at least 3" thick so it won't be much of a step up to the platforms... infact, they should be real close to the level of the existing floor.

Swapped out my old dash cam for a new one.  Was a running a Roav 1080p (forward facing only) for about 5 years now.  Loved the camera, took good video and app was user friendly.  The suction cup attached to the windshield was less than ideal and caused issue from time to time. 

Went with a Rexing v33, 3 channel (front, cabin and rear cameras) with 1440p.  I had picked it up a while ago, just one of those projects that I put to the side until I had time.  This cam has 3M adhesive tape that sticks to the windshield and will hopefully work out better than the suction cup on the other one.

Both cameras have gps / time&date stamp / app interface to download video to.  Bunch of other features. Hopefully will never need any of the videos as evidence, but it’s nice to know I have it.  Too many accidents, distracted drivers and bad drivers not to be running one.

Got the first floor/platform down in front of the messy workbench and back filled in with the gravel. It's a good solid surface to stand on while working at the bench. I have a bar stool I can sit on when doing small work but it always wanted to sink into the gravel. Now it has a solid surface to sit on. I've fallen off enough bar stools in my life that I didn't need that anymore. 
Oh BTW, that workbench got cleaned up too.

Now all the school busses are blocking the roads up too though is what I don't like about it. I have to stay off the roads during those times whenever possible because it's ridiculous around here trying to run errands picking up parts ect throwing efficiency right out the window. I prefer my trips to take the least time possible where I have more time to get other work done. That's one good thing about having a sports car is being able to get a lot of things in town and make it back to the house in short time when traffic isn't bad.

After almost getting killed in a head on collision at 70mph the other day when a idjit decided he needed to pass a slow semi in front of him and also pass me in the oncoming lane on my shoulder it had me wishing I had a dash cam though at that speed I doubt it would've caught the license unless I turned around and caught up to the idjit to film it. Is the cabin cam usually good enough to capture useful side view of an idjit next to you or would you need a side cam?

cabin cam is limited to inside the car.  I believe they have some systems that run side cams- but haven’t looked into them.

I am inside this morning painting the Bluebird nest boxes in preparation for winter storage.  (The painting is taking place in the attic.)  Why am I painting inside and not outside?  The skies opened up and we are getting some MUCH needed rain.  Woo Hoo!!

 While waiting I made a QR code to a video of Convoy the Friendly Pigeon eating out of my hand. I will put it in a bubble gum machine filled with scratch grain and wild bird seed mix, I am not sure if the pigeons will eat out of anyone else's hand but it will be fun to watch

The wooden deck floor is done at the "L" shaped workbench.
Let me just say... shoveling 5' x 5' x 4" deep gravel is not something I want to do often. Once I got the floor deck sections in and leveled I back filled the gravel to it and spread the rest evenly over the remaining graveled area. Then put all the totes and tool boxes back under the work benches.
I took breaks when I felt my heart beat in my neck, chest and head. I drank lots of gator aid and water.
Funny how any upgrades/projects one can come up with while taking breaks. 
I have another planned but it's airgun related.
