Paper plates = no cleanup or evidence.

Build an oak or hickory campfire, let it burn down, place a large iron skillet on the coals, after marinating the steak for an hour, put some oil in the skillet and sear the steak for a couple of minutes on each side, or longer if you want your steak more done. I'll cook mine until the internal temp is 130° then I'll pull it off the fire and tent with aluminum foil for 5-10 minutes. Eat on paper plates.

Yeah, I burn alot of pecan here. But nothing pops like cane poles..
The bead sealer came in today so tomorrow morning I'll be putting new valve stems in those leaky front tires on both zturns. It will be nice not to have to fire up the compressor every time I need to mow.

A two-inch ribeye, medium rare with a baked potato and grilled corn on the cob.Yep, seen that on the menu at the local steak house. Now I thought you were a DIY guy. Surely you can cook a steak at home that will rival any steak house.Sure I can but it's the clean up and dishes that I hate. I'm also trying to avoid the wrath of Betty Lou when she gets back and finds anything out of place in HER kitchen.

If I remember right those costed me around $20 total for both tires. The rear tubes were $15.
Oh, I already stocked up on paper plates and solo cups. Oh, and as if divine intervention, our local grocer's sale ad came out today. Swanson and Banquet pot pies on sale for $.99. Family size Banquet mac n cheese went on sale as well. We jumped in the truck and headed to stock up. I grew up on pot pies back when they were 10 for a buck.I also grabbed a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread for French toast with heat and eat sausage. Most of my cooking with be the microwave and toaster oven. Oh wait, does that sound familiar?
You could probably get a pretty good sear on a steak by dipping it into a lead melting pot.
