Sold the GMC today. Some real nice and jolly old black guy called and I went to meet him and his green haired wife. As they were looking it over the wife kept picking out minor cosmetic stuff. The old guy kept telling her that it was just small stuff. Finally he told her to go sit in the car because she was giving him a headache. He asked me to take him for a ride in it. I suggested he drive. He said nope, it's your truck, I'll drive it when it's my truck. I pulled in the gas station to put some gas in it and I knew he was going to buy it because he handed me a $20 and told me to put it in the tank. When he pulled the cash out to pay me I told him to just give me $2200 instead of the $2500 I was asking. He said that I made his day.I felt really good doing that deed.
Brett I hope you didn't get tagged in the operated arm. I saw a yj on my pants leg biting and stinging it by the wood line while checking my trail cam so I swatted it off and saw one on the ground thinking it was that one so I stomped it smearing it several times then stood there watching a bunch come out of the ground 2ft away from the camera yet amazingly they never stung me despite my movement close by which I can not logically explain as they usually are fast to rage. Rationally I should've been lit up like Reno on New Years. Got cans of foaming wasp spray and killed em without one sting. God's protection is all I can figure.
Been thinking about doing that to my camper shell on the Titan.Ours is the high rise like this one. More head room.
Got most of the running around projects done. Spent the afternoon monitoring one dog that got snake bit in the face. It was a pygmy rattler that got in the dog pen and curiosity got the better of the girl dog. I removed the snake out of the yard and did think much about the dog being bit because the snake was outside the pen when I found it. An hour or so later I went to check on something and noticed she acting funny, half her nose and face swelled up like she had goiter on the side of her face. She is fine and all wiggle tail when she sees me, the swelling is already going down and she is eating and drinking with no problems. It's that time of the year again, they are on the move. Just another exciting day in the swamp.

Just another exciting day in the swamp.Bring her to the vet! Our old vet warned us that it takes two antivenom shots to make sure a dog will be OK after getting bitten. He said many people thought the dog was getting better after the first shot so they didn’t bother getting the second one, with fatal results. The brother of a dog we used to have got bitten, the owners thought the dog was doing better, and then it died.Maybe the venom from a pygmy rattler is less dangerous than some other rattler venoms, but if it were my dog I’d be whisking it to the vet.
