Talked to Mike the mower guy. I'm going to fabricate the muffler bracket and put the manual choke on then trailer it to him so he can figure out my drive issue. He's done dozens of these things and he'll be able to just look at it and see what's wrong. In return I'm going to give him the bones from the Husky and a BB gun or 2 for he and his grandson.

I hope Mike can quickly solve you drive issue.
I watched the weather radar and the lightning strike tracker all day. In the summer we have to monitor the weather constantly since thunder storms brew up out of no where. It looks like you got pounded by a major electrical storm today Kris!
What horsepower rating was on the Husky that's now on the Snapper? Did I understand you that the Husky engine has less hp than what was on the 360c? Is the snapper 36" or 42" cut. Enquiring minds want to know.
I've pulled trailers all my life from small ATV trailers to 30' travel trailers. I can back a trailer very well, into places other people wouldn't try. That said, last week I was backing my landscape trailer weaving in and out avoiding two other trailers and a tractor. Well I barely touched a pipe that was sticking out of a trailer and broke the right taillight housing (plastic). Today I replaced both while updating to waterproof LED lights.
