Heat & humidity yesterday in Minnesota then thunderstorms & rain in the late afternoon.3 1/2 to 7 inches of rain Up North. Extensive flooding occurred in Duluth & the Lake Superior area ( i.e. the Iron Range & Arrow Head region ) Some roads washed out.Sunshine & drying out today. Maybe I can get the grass cut this afternoon. It looks like we will be back to thunderstorms and rain for Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Many rivers in the state are rising and are either at or approaching flood stage.Eventually here will be a lot of water coming down the Mississippi. No drought here this year.Best Wishes - Tom
