Nice mess of fish there Chris. I guess I need to get my rig cleaned up and transition the truck from hunting to fishing and quit messing with yard for a minute.
Went back to the lake and caught some more bass.

Several young men were running from one side of the boat to the other to get a better view. Not a good idea on an overloaded pontoon boat. I asked them nicely twice and then I got pretty sharp with them. The poor lady was in the bow and had no idea what was going on behind her. Maybe she thought I was talking to her?And I can't wait for "talk like a pirate day".
Sorted through old flatware to get ready to make welded birds and other critters. Back tires to the rider delivered today, front tires will be here tomorrow. Unleashed the ladybugs into the garden, the majority of them hung around and started chomping on the bugs in the citrus. I will do another release in a few weeks. I will set out the Green Lacewing eggs tomorrow, they will hatch out in a week or so. That will take care of the next wave of bugs. They don't migrate as much as the lady bugs do. I am hoping by the end of the summer I will have a good population of both for the next growing season. I am not a big fan of pesticides, they are expensive and a lot of times do more harm than good. I have gotten better results using mother nature.
I was trimming a shrub with my brand new 24" battery hedge trimmer and I fell off the ladder. I was on the 3rd step and the ground wasn't level but having worked off of ladders for many years I thought I would be alright. Wrong.A felt it starting to tip and it seemed to happen in slow motion, so I jumped off. My feet hit first, but I wasn't upright and fell on my tailbone and then my head hit. I didn't brace myself well because like an idiot I tried to keep the trimmer from getting damaged. Man am I sore all over but it could have been much worse. Those blades are shape. This yard is gonna kill me.
I don't mind the wasps either, they take out a lot of caterpillars. Even 6 years after the hurricane a lot of things have still not recovered well including the insects. The beekeepers in this area are just now starting to get back to normal for production. They still have to deal with the mites and beetles in the nucs. The new nucs that disperse the mite dust are not cheap. This year the tupelo will have a decent bloom with all the flooding. Hopefully the beekeepers will have a good harvest for the next few weeks. I had more honey bees around the citrus this year and had a pretty good set.
