I'm pleased that we only got about 1 inch of sleety snow.   Most of it already melted.   Rest should be gone tomorrow.   But that doesn't mean we  can't get slammed with a foot or more of late season snow.

By the time it melted down, that’s what it looked like here. Mud has returned with a vengeance. But hey, we didn’t need to shovel it!   

More snow is in the forecast. I’ll be lucky to shoot outdoors before Thursday or Friday. Welcome to springtime.

Nothin got put away at my place.
Both snow blowers are still in the garage and the snow tires are still on the car. 
I am going out to clear the driveway again.. then I am going to bed.
My wife has a dental appointment tomorrow morning.

 I am supposed to look at a free lawn mower, that was weeks ago, no hurry LOL Well I ended up only getting Ernie's weather. Snow equipment still out yup

Yesterday I got the old Husqvarna lawn tractor out of the Quonset and fired up. I had to air up a tire. Gas just ran out of the carb bowl. I tapped it a few times and it slowed to a drip. Time to order a carb.

Just finished jugging up 13 qt. jars of "happy pie creek water".    7 of them will go to my buddy who supplied the fuel  and the remaining 6 are mine. Last time he got 6 and I got the extra one. Each jar has just over 1 cup of the rocket fuel at 110 proof. You might not think that's much but I'd like to see you consume 1 cup of 110 proof and not wiggle when you walk.
The biggest problem is that the happy pie just tastes soooo good it's hard to stop sipping at it. Then when you stand up you realize that probably wasn't the best idea.

All totaled from yesterday and last night I got near a foot of really wet heavy snow.
I blew the driveway off again this morning after the snow plow went thru.
The end of the driveway was piled up to about 2 1/2 feet from the plow.
One week ago there was bare ground out back.

Just talked to Charles on the phone.. the plan was to go out to the farm a see what's up with his gun not holding C02. It's his first multi bulb C02 rifle and I would wager a bet he's put the carts in wrong or didn't tighten it down enough to pierce the cart.
Anyways, he said he was down in his back and wants to hold off until tomorrow.
So now the plan has changed.. I'm running down a new carb for the Husqvarna lawn tractor. It was dumping gas out of the bowl yesterday.
I have one in my cart from Amazon but I'm waiting for a call back from a local source before I push play on the order. If I can get it locally I can swap it in today.. if not, eta on the Amazon one is the end of the month.

Less than $20... Cheap enough to keep me from jacking around with a rebuild.

I came to the same conclusion a couple years ago when I had to fix a lawn mower for one of my girls.   She wanted it fixed right away of course so I looked for a quick solution.   It's amazing how cheap some small engine carbs are on ebay.

Pressure washed the Tundra and my wife's FJ to get all of the mud off. Then went into town in my old ranger to fill up 40 gallon jugs with filtered water for me and the dogs. Wife is a water snob and won't drink anything but desany.😱🤣🤣🤣

It's cheaper to buy the whole carburetor. I use to rebuild mine but when the kits went up and starting to get hard to find, I just go to ebay and enter the carb number and most of the time they are $9 to $12 a piece. They are replacements for B&S carbs. Just about everything is plug n play anymore.

I drove five boat tours today and worked as a dockhand between tours.  I feel pretty good.  Not too tired or beat up.  Not bad for the tail end of spring break!  I got home to corned beef and cabbage and a hunk of corn pone.  It hit the spot.

Then the memsahib let the other shoe drop.  The Iron Maiden will be home tomorrow.  I love the child but she is righteously vexatious!  It's like having another mother in law.

The man-shed is stocked with rum and iron rations.  I may have to hole up out there for a while.
