Today and yesterday we did a lot of cleaning and moved into our new house. I'm hurting bad.

We've moved 5 times in the past 11 years including the relocation from middle Ohio to lower Alabama. I don't plan to do it again. Moving in to a new place can be very exciting providing it's an upgrade to lifestyle but it remains one of my least favorite things in life to do.

Food Prep for fourth week of Carb Cycling...didn't loose any pounds this week but lost inches.  I've only got one notch left and then my belt will be too big :-)

Thanks Bill. It's been exciting but VERY stressful. On top of that I have a really bad toothache and have only eaten yogurt for the last two days. Dentist says I have to see a specialist to get a root canal which my insurance doesn't cover.

When I needed a crown and got the price, a friend said to call a different dentist. I did and saved $500.00. Never knew you could shop around for dental work, but apparently you can. Mine was not covered by insurance either, ouch!

Not much for outdoor stuff, still had some drizzle this morning. Managed to get the stone cutter out this afternoon and slab up some rock to polish and cut into gems. Yes, I still have my fingers. Nice activity to do in the shop that is warm and dry.

The winds were closer to normal today and I took out four boat tours.  The only sunshine showed up about noon but it was gone by 1400 so the gators came out for a couple of tours.  Later it got cold and gray but the cold brought the manatee up river in droves.  Back in the narrow "jungle" channel  I found a sizable family of manatee blocking the entire channel.  So I parked the bow of the barge over them and since I had nine kids on that tour I let the kids lie down on the deck and hang their heads over the bow just a few feet from the manatee. Finally the dominant female herded them all into deep water and I was able to continue the tour.  On another tour we surprised a BIG male manatee who was grazing the pickerel weed along the bank.  We were within ten feet of him when he noticed the boat and spooked.  He went thrashing and churning out into the channel in a panic, tossing fragments of partially masticated eel grass and spatterdock all over the passengers. 
Splashzone!  It was cold but I managed to find a few gators for the last tour of the day and the manatee turned out to block the channel again.  When we returned to the dock I received the accolades of the adoring crowds.  People told me it was the best tour they had ever been on!

Yeah I don't let it give me a big head.  If we see three gators and a couple of manatee I'm a big hero!

Johnny must have been doing a lot of blow that day.

Trust me Bill.  I have never done as many drugs as that guy.   He was so wasted during the filming of Don Juan DeMarco and the Centerfold that I had to re-write the film permits for multiple days of shooting.  Repeatedly.  I asked what the problem was and the first AD told me Dep was too effed up on smack most days to work.

I worked the early field shift today.  Opening up the park, emptying trash cans,  putting up the flags.  Sometimes you just need a day like this.  I rescued an injured Opossum and took him to Florida Wild Mammal Rescue.  They seemed to feel they could fix the little guy up so I did my Ranger deed for the day!

It's been raining all day long. Did a little dusting and cleaning up of the mud/dirt chunks the dogs drug in on their feet along with the dirt chunks in 3 of the 4 crates.

Attempted to do some yard work, not! I will have wait for it to dry out and fix the ruts in the yard from this adventure. It's is so wet that the crayfish have come to the surface, the little mud mounds are starting to pop up everywhere.

I just shuffled some paperwork and goofed off all day around the house, but I stayed in and dry!

My wife and the granddaughter that is here visiting from Idaho went to town to visit with my sister in-law. I love my brother and her but don't like being around her much because she has to be in the middle of every conversation even if it means injecting unrelated thoughts, constantly trying to change the subject.

SoCal, SoCal, SoCal and its rainy season... equates to one thing...  MUD !

I haven't done too much for the last few days except try to get all the air out of Armada's air chamber, before that I grated the driveway so it could be washed out again on the next rain, that we are in already.
Rain will go on for a couple more days, THEN THE SUN; oh ya I remember what it looks likes and wish it was here now.
