Commute, work, commute, home.  Time for dinner and whatever else happens.  Hoping to just chill.

I took out four boat tours today.  The first boat I forgot my gloves.  I have badly frost bitten hands and I suffer in very cold weather.  That 45 minute tour was excruciating.  By the time I got back to the dock both hands were burning like fire.  I did not forget my gloves for the next tour! 

With my toasty gloves on I had a great day!  The animals were really active after this cold snap.  The big gators were cold!  So they were seeking any opportunity to sunbath in a sheltered spot.  I saw Francis, Rocky, Romeo, and Joe Jr.  All my favorite lizards!  Joe Jr. was hanging out on the bottom by vulture Island and I stopped the boat right on top of him so the passengers could look straight down at a 13 1/2 foot gator  four feet away!

Cleaned up the wood insert.  Started a fire.  Sitting with my people and listening to Sean practice piano.

Had to replace the HRV battery it had 1/4 life left and it's been sub 20 this week in Georgia???
Tomorrow is stand sittin day after work on the permission...chores have got in the way all week :-(

Fire up the kerosene lanterns to keep the plants warm in the fish cleaning shack, cover up the rest. Turn the faucets on outside to drip and turn the ones on in the house before bed. Spent part of the day cleaning up around outside house, moved the welding table to higher ground. Spent some time in the shop working with new lapidary cutter, one of my retirement bucket list things to do.

Made it home.  Ate.  Hanging out.  Glad to be here vs. at work.

I drove boat tours and managed the waterfront.  On the way home this evening I passed my mother's husband walking down the side of the highway about 3 miles from home.  He has dementia and was pretty out of it.  I loaded him up and took him home.  I didn't ask what's going on.  He's at a very combative phase of his condition.  Best to just get him home.  Mom's car wasn't there but I figured the memsahib would have all the skinny.  When I walked into my house the memsahib was on the phone with my mom.  Mom had to go to town to bail my brother out of jail (again) and she and her husband got in a fight about it and he wandered off.  Mom had to get to the jail before six to bail my looney brother out or he'd have to spend the whole weekend in the Pokey.   Again.  Fortunately I found her husband before he wandered into traffic and she sprung my loser brother in time.  Unfortunately her husband got in his car and wandered off and got lost.  Again.  Fortunately he didn't get far and we've just returned home from rescuing him.  Again.

Pretty much a normal Friday night around here.

Pretty bummed when I got home.  Feeling better but not sleeping for some reason.  Bro is home safe.  He’s crazy but harmless.  Unfortunately he’s also clueless and easily taken advantage of. 

It’s really not a big deal.  There a people who are plagued by far worse than  we are.

I’m just glad I had a chance to be out on the river today.  The new boss rode one of my tours today and seemed favorably impressed.  I also got a really nice right up in the local paper which I expect I’ll hear about later today.

Yeah,  not a totally bad day.

My heater looks just like your's but mine is a propane heater. Most of the time it keeps the house warm unless the temperature outside drops into the single dig. Only have a 1000 sqft house.

The 11 year old grandson’s basketball game was fun to watch but they lost. They were missing two players and only had two to trade off the bench to the other teams bench of 4 players. His team looked as though they were tired out by mid game.

 I do think the other team looked and function as more of a team, they were also taller by an average of 3"-4".
 The 11 year old grandson (Baltizar) faced off in the starting jump. He likes wearing to different color shoes which makes it easier to find him on the court.

 His parents were Catering an event for Cheech Marin today.

I'll answer for Gil  TSC at least that is where I got the one like his.
On high it's 1500W, it has a thermostat so it cycles off and on. The "log has a separate dimmer and on off switch. The two of them keep the 1400 sq ft of living space we use warm. - Tractor Supply for one and the other I bought YEARS ago through Sportsmans Guide.
