There's 38' of 6" PVC sewage pipe running from the tiny house to the septic tank with about a 1% gradient.  I needed a higher volume of water to get good positive flow.  We'll know in a few days if this solves the problem.

Now that is total genius right there. Somebody didn't pull the drain plug on that deal. Bill, it probably exceeded the weight limit of the trailer tongue and wiped out the tongue jack. Carter, gotta love state equipment, it's never ending for sure.

I have to agree with ya there Bill. I am sure there is a logical answer to that perplexing question. 

I figure the boat began to fill until the trailer started bending and the bow tilted down.  At that point all the water began to run to the front and the trailer collapsed.  Someone was supposed to come get that boat a month ago so it's probably been collecting water for weeks until this morning's down pour.

We made a dogfood run to town and on the way back I stopped at a large second hand store about a mile from home. I spotted a stack of 3 4 bulb 4' fluorescent light fixtures still in the boxes. I asked the kid how much and he said he had to call the owner. Then the owner had to call her husband and call back. 5 minutes later the call came back... $10 each. I grabbed 2. Then I asked if he had any bulbs so he made another call. The answer was yes but they were not on site. The lady said she would bring them with her today and call me... the price.. free.
Free is good.
So I am hanging new lights in the Red Shed today.

Meanwhile I chased a raccoon away from my house last night on the mower. Took a shot with my .38 snubby but likely missed. I was going to get the trash can and drag it back to the house when I saw the critter running from the driveway to the woods. If I'd had my 12ga that would've been a dead bandit. Makes me wish 12ga mounts were installed on the side of the mower. hehe

I loaded some scrap lumber up to take to the dump tomorrow. I came across this little fellow. At 54°F he could barely move. He/she? was only about 14 inches long. I made sure it was cold for a while before starting to load the lumber pile because I figured there were/are snakes under it, I have about half the pile left to go another time.

I made sure it was cold for a while before starting to load the lumber pile because I figured there were/are snakes under it, I have about half the pile left to go another time.

Pygmy rattler. Nasty.  I'm a Herp enthusiast but pygmys are at the bottom of my list.  You're smart to not move that pile until it's cold.

I hope you finished that sucker off.

It ended up headless!    The head went down a gopher hole and got buried. I was thinking it was a young Southern Pacific rattlesnake.
