Went out for the last round of snow removal (for today).   Wife measured 15 inches total on the patio.   Snow blower did most of the work but Im wiped out.   I’ll finish the detailed cleanup tomorrow.

I'm wiped out as well.  Nothing like moving tons of snow and manhandling a snowblower.  Just hoping to stay on the porch roof tomorrow, rather than sliding off it while removing the snow load.  That job is getting harder as I get older.  Only do that kind of thing when there's upcoming rain.  About 20 years ago, my daughter's Jr. High School's roof collapsed under snow load.  I see no need for that to happen to my house.

Delivered a bunch of meals to homebound people.   Roads were pretty much cleared of snow.    Had to wade through some snow on unshoveled sidewalks.  I can't expect homebound people who have difficulty food shopping and cooking to clear their sidewalks for me.  Then I cleared some more snow around my home.   Didn't finish that job, guess I'll finish tomorrow cuz I'm pooped now.

It didn’t snow as much as forecast, so today I finished the shoveling. 3 hrs yesterday and 1.75 hr today, plus my husband did probably 2 to 3 hrs’ worth.

I’m not wiped so much as rapidly getting fed up with the snow (last winter was brutal). So today we began planning a road trip to southern CA.

Shed some blood while working on my latest stained glass project.
Also helped load, deliver, and stack firewood -- 3 trucks and 2 trailer loads. Storm coming so we wanted to be sure people had the firewood for warmth. Amazing how many people still heat with wood.

 Went to  work, shoveled the weekends snow and other task that needed attention, then cut a load of firewood and went home. Oh I also got some more pigeon video, need to upload and process yet, some cute stuff today LOL.   8= 10" snow in the forecast so tomorrow is snow blowing at home, need to remember where I parked the blowers, then play with airguns.

Made coffee for Sonja, checked on the newest new cat, Tilly (short for Tillamook), ate breakfast, and now just relaxing in the early AM.

The cat Tilly was a fortuitous feral capture my mother in law trapped sneaking into her garage a couple days after we buried Naki, the recent new cat.  From what I could tell, Naki already was in kidney failure; he got 2 extra months of life before a seizure took him last week.  That's the peril of ferals that decide they want to adopt you.  I really wish the neighbors that fed strays and ferals would trap them then spring for spay/neuter clinics.  One of our closer neighbors volunteers at the county SPCA and we've been trapping cats left and right.  We've already seen the songbirds bounce back over the last year, and she's adopted a couple ferals that clearly HATED being outdoor cats. 

The inbound winter storm hopefully won't be too bad, but we're prepared.
